"I will die Ekansh... Please, I dont know what i will do without you. Please forgive me." She begged trying to hold his hand but he jerked his hand away from her as if her touch burnt him.
He laughed looking at her state and shook his head mocking h...
Ekansh woke up as he sensed Maya moving beside him. He got up, sitting on the bed and looking at her as she was about to wake up.
Maya opened her eyes, looking at him. Her head felt heavy.
"Are you okay?" he asked, pushing her hair back from her face.
She nodded, remembering what happened yesterday. Ekansh sighed, hugging her tightly.
Maya wrapped her arms around him, closing her eyes. She didn't even want to think about what would have happened if he and Adithya hadn't come in time.
Ekansh caressed her hair, kissing her forehead.
"How are you feeling now?"
She nodded. "I am fine."
Ekansh helped her sit properly, looking at her as she gripped his hand tight, still afraid.
He rested her head on his chest, patting her softly. "It's fine, I am here."
Maya closed her eyes, calming down, keeping her hand on his arm and flinched when he hissed.
She looked at him, confused about what happened, and felt something on his arm. She ran her hand over it softly and felt the bandage. Her eyes widened as she looked at him.
"What is this?"
"Just a small cut, don't worry."
Maya stared at him, worried. "No, tell me what happened?"
"It's nothing serious, I am fine," he said, caressing her cheek.
She nodded, looking at him and hugged him, feeling her head a little heavy.
"Will you come down for breakfast? Or should I bring it here instead?" he asked.
Maya shivered, remembering what happened last night.
"No, I will not come down."
He nodded, getting up and telling her to freshen up. Maya nodded and sat there for some time, still thinking about yesterday.
Ekansh went down to see everyone sitting in the living room talking. They all turned to him as he entered.
"How is she? Did she wake up?" his father asked.
"She woke up a few minutes ago; she is fine now."
Ekansh sat down and looked at Adithya, who was looking tense. "We have to talk."
He gulped down and nodded.

Maya sat down under the running shower, letting the water wet her naked body. She hugged her knees to her chest, closing her eyes.
She bit her lips, trying not to panic, assuring herself that she was fine.
