Maya sat on the bed after reaching home while Ekansh went to take a bath and get ready.

She took out her medicine box and stared at the tablet she had to take now. She did not want to take it, but she had to.

Her face hardened with sadness. Am I going crazy? she thought. She knew her mental health was not good, but to what extent she didn't know, and these tablets made her doubt more.

She grabbed the water bottle and gulped it down, closing her eyes. Putting everything back, she went to the wardrobe and began to take out her clothes to shower when she heard Ekansh's phone ringing.

She ignored it but stopped when she saw that it was his personal phone ringing. She came out of the closet, curious about who was calling this early.

She looked at the bathroom door; she could still hear the sound of the running water.

Maya looked at the name flashing on the phone.

Mr. Sharma.

She frowned, thinking about who it was when it stopped ringing. Maya went back and took her clothes to shower after him.

She opened the glass doors, letting the fresh air inside. She flinched as the phone rang again. Taking it in hand, she looked back at the bathroom, considering whether to inform him or not.

Maybe it's something important, she thought and turned around but gasped as she collided with Ekansh. She stumbled back in shock.

He held her hand, steadying her.

"What happened?" he asked, seeing her holding his phone.

He looked at her and took it, noticing it was still ringing.

"Someone was calling continuously... I thought something im—"

He ignored her words and went inside the closet, looking at the phone. She didn't miss the worry etched on his face as he checked who had called.

Maya gulped and went to take a shower, still thinking about who this person was. She shook her head, dismissing that thought, and turned on the shower, smiling as she remembered the surprise Ekansh had told her about earlier.

Coming out, she unwrapped the towel from her hair, wiping it dry, and looked at him as he roamed around the room, getting ready.

She stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her saree correctly.

Ekansh's eyes fell on her as he adjusted his hair while looking in the mirror. His worries were replaced by desire as his gaze traveled to her back, which was exposed except for the bra hook due to her unhooked blouse, still a little wet and hiding behind her hair, with water droplets dripping onto her back.

He sighed, averting his eyes, and stepped towards her, brushing aside her hair. Maya stiffened and looked at him over her shoulder.

"K... kya hua?" she whispered.

He didn't reply and hooked her blouse, adjusting it and fixing her hair, taking a breath as his eyes refused to drift away from the curve below her waist.

Maya bit the inside of her cheek, controlling the blush.

She moved away from him, using the excuse of making breakfast, and went out.

Ekansh closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, trying to erase the inappropriate images his mind was forming.

He rubbed the back of his neck in stress, thinking about the earlier call. He didn't know whether he should stay at home or request Mr. Sharma to meet him at the office.
