Chapter- 30

Ekansh reached his penthouse and went to his room directly. He has decided to have a talk with Maya and move ahead for both of their good. He didn't want to mourn over the past and ruin his life anymore; he knew they could never get separated, be it good or bad, and they had to resolve things together and forgive with time. He wants to put an end to both their sufferings.

He took off his blazer and freshened up, going out of the room looking for Maya. He looked in the kitchen, rooms, backyard, and garden everywhere but didn't find her.

He sat down on the couch.

Where is she? He thought of taking out his phone but remembered she doesn't have a phone with her.

He called a servant and asked her about Maya. She informed him about what happened while he was not there.

Ekansh immediately went out of the house, grabbing his car keys.

Why did Aarohi do that? She could have asked me once. He thought getting into the car and fasting his seatbelt.

I can't let her go. Hate or love, we can't stay without each other.

He started the car thinking where to find her. She didn't have anyone or any place to stay also.

Maya strolled aimlessly on the road with her bag in her hand. She didn't know where to go, but it was not the first time she was facing it. She looked around hoping she would find any hotel to stay in, at least; her feet were aching from walking for long distances. She was so lost that she didn't care to hire a vehicle.

"You… you broke my family and broke their trust. You hurt them. Why? Didn't they g…give you enough love… Why did you do this to me… I loved you!"

She remembered his words and smiled sadly. This is the punishment I am getting after disrespecting their love. She thought and walked to the bus stop and sat there. She took out a water bottle and drank it, closing her eyes.

Keeping it back inside her bag she got up walking ahead as no place was safe. She need to find a place to stay quickly. She was walking mindlessly on the road that she didn't notice the car which was speeding, Before the driver notice her.. the car hit her making her fall down. He applied break quickly.

Maya fell down on ground groaning in pain. The man ran his hand in his hair in panic and quickly got out of car looking at her.

"Are you ok?" He kneeled down near her who was crying in pain. Her hand was bleeding and legs scratched badly.

Maya hissed in pain as he helped her to sit.

"I am sorry… very sorry. I was in emergency; I didn't see you."

He said panicking. "Come… I will get you to hospital." He said, helping her to stand.

In pain, Maya didn't see his face. He was the same man she had met in the grocery shop. He quickly helped her to sit inside, and he also sat inside, giving her some water, and drove to the hospital.

"It's fine… We are near." He said driving and looked at her, who was in pain, clutching her bleeding hand. Her leg was also bleeding.

Maya's head was getting heavy due to pain, but she kept her consciousness.

Ekansh stopped the car, sighing tiredly. He searched every bus stop, nearby hotels, everywhere, but couldn't find her.

He leaned his head back on headrest.

She is gone... again.

He took his phone deciding to take help of police but got a call from unknown number.
