"Off we go" cabir says walking in a couple minutes later

I nod dressing up really quick, it took longer to fix my hair then it did to put my sherwani on

"Lets go" I utter to cabir

When I turned around, I see his eyes watery as he looks at me

"what's wrong?" I ask

he shakes his head looking at me, I recognize that look in his eyes because I had that same exact look when he was going to get married

It's that look of admiration, he is proud of where I am standing.

"If dad was here, he would be so happy" cabir whispers hugging me

"Here you go" he says handing me a box

I unwrap it thinking it would be something nice, sane but guess what this idiot jsut handed to me

She just smiles as we walk to the mandap, it isn't a really big wedding but it's also not small by any means.

As I stand there waiting for Nandini, navya stood by me like the protector she is. I know I always talk about cabir being there for me but navya, she has been that rock, that wall for me.
