Teresa vs Brenda

I don't really like either of them, but if I have to pick one, I prefer Teresa. I think she truly loved Thomas

Before you guys exit wattpad and are like, "Omg, Author, how could you prefer her? Teresa betrayed Thomas, are you out of your mind?!"

Out of my mind, possibly. But I really believe Teresa loved Thomas.

I have proof!

They were best friends before the maze, and that is a very strong bond, which meant they already had a connection with each other, deeply cared about, and possibly loved each other before the maze.

In the maze, Teresa and Thomas immediately warm up to each other, because of Teresa's recognition to Thomas. They communicated telepathically with each other.

Before the Scorch, she wasn't all that bad. We all actually liked her (or at least tolerated her)

Skip to when they first exited the maze. Teresa was the only one who could comfort his loss of Chuck. When Teresa was taken away, Thomas was devestated.

In the scorch, when he was kidnapped by Teresa, we all, me included, wanted to stab her with a butterknife. Note that Thomas kept hoping for it to be a fake betrayal. In the end, it was. Thomas was still mad at her for sticking him in a gas chamber. (Who wouldn't be mad about that?!) But now, look at this on Teresa's perspective. Teresa was told she had to betray him or he'd be killed. Imagine you were given this choice. What would you do? Teresa betrayed him so WICKED wouldn't kill him. Yes, her betrayal hurt badly, so so so badly, but she did it because she loved him and didn't want him to be killed. She had to. Skip to the roof falling. Brenda was next to Thomas, she could've easily pushed him and died, but no, she was going to run and let him die. Teresa, however, could not let that happen, and saved him and died instead. She did that because she could not bear to see him die, because she truly loved him.

Now look at Brenda.

Brenda had to kind of betray him in a way too, she was working for WICKED the entire time. It was a trick-an experiment. Her flirtation, her presence, everything. She was working for the enemy. She was pushy too, kiss me, Thomas! Yeah, no Brenda. You're a slut, Brenda! I know it was part of the experiment, but I think she wanted it. After Teresa's death, she was like "I'm sorry about Teresa." No she wasn't. She barely knew Teresa, and we're not going to believe she was sooooo sorry about Teresa because right afterwards, she kissed him. She might as well have been holding a banner that said: Miss you sooooo much Teresa, haha, Jk, love ya! Thomas is a great kisser, btw!

It's just sad thinking that Thomas ended up with Brenda, who is nice and all, but, shall I remind you again? Kiss me Thomas!
Honestly, I didn't like romance in this series, probably because Brenda was so ugh and Teresa betrayed Thomas and no one got over that! I don't really ship Thomas with either, if I have to, I ship him and Teresa, but honestly, I love the original Thomas, Newt, and Minho gang! No girl (except Newt fanfictions and me!) Should get in between them!
