I hate when I pronounce a characters name wrong. Like they should have the pronouncination in the front like "hey, here's this persons name, pronounce it right!" But nooo.
Tobias? I pronounced it To-be-as for almost the entire first book until my brother told me it was Tuh-bi-as and then I felt stupid.
Enobaria? I pronounced it En-o-boar-a until Catching Fire movie came out.
Chaol? (Throne of Glass) I pronounced it so many different ways, Chol, Coal, Kyle, Kalol, I'm not even sure how to pronounce my pronunciations for this name. Then Sarah J. Maas cleared everything up by saying, "It's Chaos with an L" why not just name the dude Chaos??? (I take that back, his name is amazing)
Eadlyn? (The Heir) a lot of people had trouble with her name, I didn't. Its
Eed-lynn.
Minho? Throughout the whole first book I called him Minnow when it was really Mee-no.
It just really sucks when you pronounce a name wrong and you have all these people correcting you, ya know?
