"What the hell is that?" Josie asked, a bit panicky.

"Essentially, a Potivulum is a monster who can steal DNA from a prey, turn that DNA into sperm and will implant it into a helpless woman. As the baby develops, the Potivulum would essentially consume the baby's soul and become the baby—" Freya tries to explain but Josie cuts her off.

"I'm carrying a demon baby?!?" She shot up and began to pace as Caroline tries to calm the teen down.

"Not exactly. If the baby is strong enough, it can either consume the Potivulum or they can share the vessel." Freya concluded her explanation.

"Is there anything we can do to stop it?" Hope wonders.

"No, but we better pray the baby's DNA is from you because then we'll have nothing to worry about." Freya sighs and sat down.

"Tell us more about this monster please?" Lizzie asks and Freya nods.

"Well to start, they were a monarchy species and there was a king. This king would have his minions bring women to conceive with them and he would later transfer into one of the babies. It was like a cycle until one of his attempts failed, the boy conquered the king and lived to become the new king. But this boy was human, so he grieved for his mother and sought for revenge enacting a mass genocide on almost all Potivulum. Most died and some escaped, but they failed to conquer their vessels resulting into their inevitable. Potivulum knows the risk of jumping souls so they only do it when they are on the verge of death." She informs.

"I get it now. Poti in latin means possession and vulum from the latin word parvulum which means baby would translate to possession of babies or infants." Hope notes.

"Yeah." Freya nods.

"Nerd." Lizzie mutters and Hope rolled her eyes.

"Need to remind you that my family has lived for centuries and latin is a language I was taught from the point I became aware of my existence." She divulged.

"The best thing we can do Josie, is wait it out." Freya ignored the bickering from the best friends and Josie took a deep breath.

"I need water, air and space." Josie informs as she quickly exits the library.

They watched as the brunette speeds out the room and decided to collect their thoughts.

"Maybe that would explain the fact that no monster has shown up in a while." Mg indicates.

"Possibly. Since she is still fairly early in her pregnancy, we won't be able to identify the other parent." Freya advised.

"Well we can eliminate vamps right?" Lizzie perks up.

"Yes. But if something happens, just give me a call." Freya stands up and run a tired hand through her hair.

"Are you heading back to New Orleans?" Hope also stands up feeling much more sober.

"Yes, if I stay any longer than I'll get homesick." Freya laughs lightly and walked with Hope to the exit of the library.

Everyone else decided to call it a night as well, Caroline assisted Lizzie instead of Mg since they haven't reached that stage of trust yet. But the meeting with the group didn't prevent Caroline from giving Lizzie a lecture about her drinking and partying. Once they reached the twin's bedroom, they didn't see Josie so they assumed she was in Hope's room and Caroline would just check on the girl later. She waited another hour to find neither Hope nor Josie in the room and began to panic. Spotting the older Mikaelson, she immediately rushed to them and took a minute to catch her breath.

"Sorry for the interruption, have you two by any chance seen Josie?" Caroline queries.

"Hm no." Keelin gave her a sorry smile.

"Not at all. Hope is wolfing out so hopefully she's not outside." Freya informs and Caroline pulls a face.

"Shit..." She trails off realizing the ultimatum she's in.

If she checks outside and Josie isn't there, she could run into wolf Hope and could end up seriously hurt. But if Josie is out there then she can risk her life for her daughter. But if she doesn't go and Josie isn't outside then that would be the best possibility. If Josie is out there and she doesn't go then that would be maybe just as bad as the first possibility.

"Don't worry, if Josie is out there then she is strong and can protect herself." Keelin tried to ease the mother's worries which seemed to work at some intent.

"Just wait for her or them to return, it's best not to risk anything." Freya pats Caroline's shoulder then exited the school with her wife and son in arms trailing behind her.

Caroline decided to not to go, hopefully things pans out in her favor. But Josie was indeed outside, in the flower field as a matter of fact as the location tended to help relax and ease her. She was creating a flower crown when she felt an ominous presence. She looked up to see a white wolf watching her as it trailed a circle around her, almost like it's hunting. A heavy sense of déjà vu hits Josie making her breathing become unsteady as her heart beating grows out of control. She knew she was having a panic attack, but what made it worse was the fact that she was having it while being marked as food for the wolf. She also knew she could get out of the situation easily if she wasn't shaking. It wasn't until she felt the warmth of the white animal then it bit her hand, snapping her back to reality and yelp slightly.

"Inc—" Josie started but stopped when she hears the wolf whining then pushed her back onto her back.
"Stop it." Josie commands and the wolf backs up slightly to see that Josie was back to normal. The wolf sits down in front of the brunette and shakes its fur and Josie took in each feature, from the golden eyes to the snowy soft fur.
"Are you not going to eat me?" Josie then decided to ask. The wolf shakes their head and pokes Josie's belly.
"You can sense that I'm pregnant." She reached out and touched the wolf's fur resulting into the wolf lying down and pushing their head more into Josie's hand. It then lets out a small yelp and Josie giggles. "You're cute...Wait how are you a wolf? It's not a full moon. Are there any actual wolves in this area?" Even if there were, they wouldn't be able to understand english unless there are some who were human but were cursed to stay in their wolf form forever...Sorry." Josie apologizes for her rant and the wolf responds by licking the girl's hand making Josie giggle.
