The school year had began once more and for the last time for the brunette at the Salvatore School, while Hope starts college. She agreed to do online then transfer while Josie finished the school year. Online schooling allowed to also easily manage the twins as it did give her more alone time, building and maintaining her bond with the boys. While the school year progressed, the usual happens; monster fighting, flag football, festivals, you name it.

But thankfully to everyone, mainly the graduates, no big villain(s) decided to show up and ruin these students final days at the school. Josie was also appointed as the class's valedictorian with no complaints from her peers (unanimously of them agreeing and not thinking it to be biased since Josie was an overachiever) although her competitive nature mainly driven her to push through her achievements. Not wanting Hope to outshine her, now both of their twins would know that they both made it as valedictorian meaning that they would be on par intellectually.

Josie had also taken some college classes, with the help of Freya, to get ahead of the game to which she is now going to graduate at the same time as Hope so their schedules would be more flexible. Hope of course was static until Josie made the threat of making her the salutatorian and Hope's wolf immediately became excited about her mate's challenging her. The graduation ceremony was the same as last year, with a few changes to keep the audience engaged. Instead of going to the Grill like last year, the families took a trip outside of the country and to one of the Mikaelson's famous castles that Rebekah had been rebuilding, making it much richer and fuller.

Now we fall to the present, the twins had celebrated their second birthday and Hope had rented (although she could've boughten it, it wasn't her property nor did she want to stay their forever) the small family an on-campus apartment complex with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, even an upstairs and downstairs, full kitchen, living and dinning room, and lastly a balcony. Although it held minimal design and details, the place was quite luxurious for an on-campus apartment. The family had moved in a week before classes started, giving them time to settle down and establish everything.

"Alright, here's my schedule." Hope handed Josie the nightly schedule while Josie types away at a computer.

"3 to 8, seems reasonable." Josie read through the classes while Hope smiles.

"Yeah I want to be home to sleep with my fiancée." Hope pecked Josie's neck.

"Hope, not in front of the kids." Josie smirks playfully and Hope pulled back slightly with an eyebrow risen.

"Not like that...unless." Hope continued her teasing making Josie giggle.

"Hosie! Quit sweet talking in front of my nephews and let us in!" They hear Lizzie's voice boom from outside of the door and Josie lets out a breath of air.

"Why did I agree to attend the same college as her?" She mouths to Hope and Hope chuckles before preforming a spell to open the door.

"Mg, come in." Hope granted and Mg steps in with a sigh of relief, he closes the door.

"Hey my beautifuls!" Lizzie rushes over to the twins and Nikolai raises his arms to her.

"Aunt Lizzie!" They cheer, Hayes nearly tackles her.

"Jesus, what do they be feeding you baby Hulk?" Lizzie questioned while Hayes shrugs.

"This place is nice! Damn Hope." Mg compliments as he looks around.

"Feels like home already, I never knew I needed to be back in New Orleans until now and with my family at that." Hope lets out a content sigh.

"Don't get all sappy on us now, wanna watch a movie Thor and Hulk?" Lizzie asked her nephews and their smiles beamed.

"Yeah!" The twins both run to the couch and climbed on.

Mg and Lizzie joined them while Hope walks back over to Josie. She began to massage the brunette's shoulders then gave her a long kiss on her lips.

"I cannot wait until we graduate." Hope then pecks her forehead.

"Me neither, we can finally start a normal life." Josie watched as Hope brought a seat next to her to then sit down.

"That is true, but...mainly because I want you to be my wife A.S.A.P." Hope fiddled with Josie's ring and Josie smiles.

"I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, but being a Mikaelson does sound fantastic." She bites her lip and moves to sit on Hope's lap.

"Mommy can we haf popcorn, pwease?" Nikolai asked catching his parents' attention.

"I'm here too you know." Hope huffs while Josie giggles.

"Of course, bring us the bag." Josie readjusted herself so she is now facing her son while her fiancé wraps her arms around Josie's waist.

"Okay!" He takes off to the kitchen and returns just as quickly.

Josie held the bag in her hand and Nikolai watched with interest as the bag begins to expand and kernels began to pop. Nikolai interest expression turns to amusement as he giggles at the magic trick in his eyes.

"And there, freshly popped popcorn." Josie shook the bag slightly before handing it to her son who held the brightest but also goofiest smile.

"Tank you mommy! Also tank you mom." He runs off while Hope frowns.

"I change his diapers and get a small thank you, this is so sad. He is my twin!" She huffs.

"Aw stop being a big baby because I'm his favorite." Josie teased and Hope's jaw drop.

"As if." She crossed her arms and pouted making Josie giggle.

Josie pecked her lips until the pout eventually went away then left a lingering kiss that would've turned heated if she didn't pull apart.

"We do have a couple of days before classes start that we can spend normally, as a family. But for today...let's go out as just us two." Josie bit her lip and Hope smile grew.

"I'm so down." She nodded and Josie gets up swiftly.

"Great! Lizzie and Mg, watch them for us. We'll be out for a couple hours." Josie informs.

"Okay shoo." Lizzie pops a piece of popcorn in her mouth while her eyes never leave the screen.

"Yeah yeah sure whatever." Mg shoots them a thumbs up.

"Have fun mommies!" Hayes says with a smile.

"Thank you Hayes." Josie rolled her eyes before pecking him on the forehead, making sure to do the same Nikolai as well.

Telling them that she loves them, Hope does the same before they leave to their shared room to go get dressed and exits their apartment, into town.
