When the two families made it to the Grill, there obviously weren't a big enough seat for them all so they had to take up two sections.

"Hey big man." Hope greeted the man and he swings around with a wide smile at the sound of her voice.

"Oh? How's my favorite couple, I see you have little ones now!" He walks up to the counter and fist bumps Hope and Josie.

"Yep, they are almost one believe it or not." Josie readjusted Hayes in her arms, they had swapped kids because Nikolai wanted to ride her shoulders in which she opted out of.

"Wow and cool, also congrats! Finally made it to graduation I see." He slaps his belly with a hearty laugh.

"Yep! I'm ready to take care of them while Jo finishes school." Hope reveals and he gives her a little nod.

"Well it was lovely to catch up with you two but they need me in the kitchen, enjoy your selves!" He waved off then entered into the kitchen as said.

Josie and Hope gave him a wave before then and made their way to their families. Hope sits next to her parents with Nikolai now in a high chair which he fussed about. Hayes also fussed but Josie gives him a her pendant which he fidgeted with, keeping him busy.

"Parenthood must be rough huh?" Alaric remarked and Josie rolled her eyes at her father.

"I have no regrets, I'm just happy that both of my baby boys are Potivulum-free and Josiah didn't take him away from us." Josie lets out a sigh as she looks to Nikolai who was still fussing.

"Josiah?" Caroline asked, clearly out of the loop.

"The legend who massacred his own species, including his father." Hope briefly explains to her fiancée's parents. "What concerns me is when will Hayes develop his eye?" She asked Josie and the brunette sits back in deep thought.

"I've been researching that, I can't find anything about it." Josie lets out a small sigh then did a quick fire spell which made Nikolai become joyous.

"Eye, what eye?" Freya pops up from behind Hope.

"Yeah he has both eyes already, is he going to grow another one?" Lizzie does the same but behind Josie.

"Well nosies. Hayes had somehow travelled us into his consciousness or something and informed us about Nikolai's transition. When we talked with him, he was like 5 or 6 and had a marking in his eye." Josie explains and Freya thinks.

"Huge shot in the dark but did you two figure out which of the boys had the Potivulum in them?" She wondered and the auburn turns to her.

"You think it's connected?" Hope questions.

"It's a possibility I mean, they are tribrid babies and yet you did not develop any markings in your eyes. If the two are connected then maybe..." Freya trails off and Josie immediately caught wind of what she was implying.

"You want to contact Josiah about it." She reveals and Freya tilts her head slightly.

"Yeah." The blonde confirms and Josie lets out a heavy sigh this time.

"We don't have to Jo." Hope leans forward, grabbing Josie's left hand.

"Yes but, we should. Even though every fiber in my being is against this idea, it could be the solution to our inquiry." Josie natural pout on display and Hope nods hesitantly.

"Draw it for him, he has to know what he is working with." Freya instructed and Josie shakes her head.

"You're asking the wrong person in this relationship." She jokes and Hope smirks.
