"It just never made any sense, they go out on a date then never returned." Lizzie informed the people around her.

Mg had called their old classmates about the whole situation. They had fallen asleep after watching marvel movies with the twins and woke up to Hayes crying, the boy has never cried a day in his life. Sobbing about his parents not being there and full on having a panic attack. Lizzie did her best to calm him down while Mg called Hope and Josie but neither picked up.

That went on for a couple of days until Mg and Lizzie decided to go to the Mikaelson's manor both informing them about Hope and Josie's disappearance as well as to see if Hayley or anyone really, could prevent the boy from hyperventilating. Tracking spells, tracking phones, even dark magic didn't work. So now the Super Squad are all at a bar discussing the situation of Hope and Josie's disappearance.

"Did they say where they were going?" Sebastian asked.

"No, just said that they were going out." Mg sighed, sipping the discrete blood.

"This is obviously something serious guys, they would never abandon their twins." Lizzie frowns and Mg rubs her back to comfort her.

"I think it'll be best to let the Mikaelson's deal with this, they are much more equipped, adapted and experienced than us. We would only get in their way." Maya shrugs and they all agreed.

In Another Place...

The sound of bushes rustling captures the auburn's attention. Discreetly grabbing her sharpened rock, she side eyes the area to not draw attention to her knowing of the attacker. Her eyes are drawn to an arrow being pointed at her and at the moment of release, the auburn ducks. A growl escapes the auburn, almost like instants and she charges her enemy. The attacker gets up and runs while the auburn stays on their trail. They run into an open field and the auburn glimpses to the brunette, so familiar yet a stranger. 'Who is she,' The auburn thought and the brunette only draws another arrow.

"Give me food or you die." The brunette threatens, the auburn more shocked that the woman spoke the same language as her.

"I rather die, the food is mine." The auburn growled, ready to block another arrow.

The woman shoots the arrow, but instead of it being fired behind her, they strike a bear that was ready to pounce the auburn whom turns to see the wounded animal.

"You are welcome." The brunette lowers her bow and the auburn reciprocates with her knife.

"What is your name?" The auburn turned and put the animal out of its misery.

"Josie...you?" The brunette averted her eyes.

"Hope." Hope turned back and bit her lip in thought. "You can have some of my food, I guess..." She averted her eyes as well and Josie hid her smile. They made it back to the camp and Josie taught her how to preserve uncooked meat. They used the bear's hide to make clothing for the upcoming winter and decided to get to know each other. "Cool markings?" Hope complimented.

"Markings?" Josie raised her eyebrows.

"Yeah, you have them running through your body." Hope trailed them softly against Josie's skin.

Her touch slowly burning her skin and Josie can feel the heat rising to her face.

"I didn't know they reached such lengths." Josie muttered, brown eyes meeting blue.

There was a familiar feeling when they gazed into each other's eyes, but they both looked away and finished their food.

"I wouldn't mind you tagging along, two is better than one." Hope mumbled and Josie smiled to herself.

Day after day, the duo learned and grew together while expanding their living arrangements. They had relocated to where a waterfall dropped beautifully into a wide lake. Fortunately, they located the area before spring so the water was more warm than cold. Hope was in the mist of building a small house when Josie entered with damped hair cascading down her back and the sun reflecting perfectly against her skin. She smelled like spring had just bloomed.

"I have created something." Josie mentioned, capturing the auburn's attention and her eyes involuntarily trailed down the brunette making Josie blush.

"What's it?" Hope dropped her hammer like tool and turned around, shirtless and sweat beading over her body, Josie averting her eyes but they without a doubt gazed at the naked body.

"Body washer, you can clean your body with it and also smell good." Josie held out and Hope goes to grab it.

"You do smell quite lovely." She complimented, keeping her eyes on the solution while Josie face turns even reader.

"Are you done with the shelter?" She looked around to distract herself.

"Actually yeah, just finished building a bunk." Hope smiled then made her way out of the home.

Josie watched as she began to strip out of the clothing making her immediately turn around and explore the small cabin like build. After five minutes, Hope returns smelling just as fresh and clean and gives Josie a thumbs up for her product. The next day, the duo decided to go hunting and managed to rally up enough to last them a week. While they ate their meal, Josie decided to speak.

"This place...it's weird that I'm the only one to find you. Are we the last two people in this place?" Josie wondered, looking up at the stars.

"If we are, there isn't anyone I would rather spend my last days with." Hope admitted and Josie felt speechless, her heart began to beat out of her chest.

"Oh I...thank you." She mutters, butterflies swarming into her stomach.

Silence fell amongst them, even after they had finished, they comfortably sat, watching the stars in each other's presence. Josie let her head rests on the auburn's shoulder before interlocking their heads and closing her eyes. 'I could get used to this,' she thought.
