"What's wrong with him?" Josie wondered, worriedly.

"He has the ability to remember everything since the development of his brain. Meaning he remembers our birth and during our birth mother died correct?" Hayes asked to be sure that he is correct about his theory.

"Yes that is correct." Hope leans forward.

"Well you didn't die because of child birth, Hayes is the reason why you died. He siphoned you before coming out of the womb to ensure you turn. He had heard of the conversation of vampires living forever and to make certain that you are in our lives, he killed you. But that's not what I want to warn you on." Hayes watched as the cogs in Hope's head turned.

"He's going to turn." She realized and Josie's eyes widened.

"Precisely. After I had absorbed the Potivulum, I gained all of its knowledge and memories which is how I know about all of this." Hayes pointed to his eye then scratched his head.

"Turn into what?" Josie asked slightly confused.

"A wolf mother." Hayes sighed and Josie's jaw dropped.

"But he is only a month old." She nearly cried.

"The werewolf curse has no bounds." Hope spoke as she tried to think.

"Aw man, it's time for you two to return. I am unable to control my supernatural abilities because I am merely only an infant. But if I am to connect to you two again then something is wrong." Hayes blue eye then began to glow as he waved bye to his parents.

Hope and Josie gave him a wave back before darkness ensued them once again. Moments later they shoot up from their spot and seen everyone's eyes dart to them with worry or confusion.

"Trippy." Hope clenched and unclenched her hand while Josie stood up quickly with panic.

"What are we going to do?" She paced and Hope vamped in front of her, stopping her in her tracks.

"Ease him." Hope advised.

"Ease?" Josie face softened.

"It's inevitable Jo, we just need to get him prepared and prepare ourselves. What's today?" Hope asked, mainly to herself but Alaric still answered.

"Today is the 31st." He tells her and she grits her teeth.

"Shit." She mutters as she is now pacing.

"Langua—" Caroline was about to scold but Hope cuts her off.

"Not now Caroline, today is the full moon." She informs Josie and Josie face went so pale, paler than anyone had ever seen.

"What exactly is going on?" Lizzie questioned for everyone and they all waited for the couple to speak.

"Nikolai is the reason Josie turned, he killed her meaning he triggered his wolf curse." Hope told them and everyone gasped.

"But he's only a month old." Caroline mentioned.

"I know." Hope ran two stressful hands through her hair.

"What if..." Josie muttered and Hope caught wind of what the brunette was about to say.

"Josie no." Hope shook her head.

"It could happen." Josie let her tears fall.

"Our boy isn't going to become an infant vampire if that's even possible. Ugh! My head is starting to hurt and spin. I need to sit down." Hope does as said but immediately gets up.

"Hope?" Josie called seeing the gold flicker in her eyes, she can tell the auburn was losing control to her wolf side.

"I need to go." Hope growled then vamped away and everyone turned to look at Josie for something.

She had nothing. She didn't know what to do. Tears just fell freely from her eyes and Lizzie is the first to pick up on the disassociation her sister had reached. Josie's mind was spiraling and she felt arms wrapped around her making snap back into reality.

"When does the sun set?" She asks when she is able to collect her voice.

"In a few hours why?" Cleo asked curiously.

"Can you babysit Hayes?" Josie asked Lizzie who nodded.

"Of course." She unwrapped her arms from her sister.

"Okay, I'll be right back." Josie announced, vamping to Nikolai who still lay awake. Josie scoops the boy into her arms then vamped outside to where Hope could be. It would be considered dangerous and foolish to run into the middle of a belly of the beast but Josie held no fear towards her fiancé. She heard a twig snap in the distance so she vamped to the destination. There she sees the flash of the white fur that she hasn't seen in such a long time, and that she low key missed. "Hope!" Josie yelled catching the wolf's attention.

The wolf growled then turned around and stopped seeing who it is, and whom they had in their arms. The wolf then whimpered and slowly walked over to Josie causing her to hold out her hand. The wolf slowly placed their head onto her hand then let out another whimper. Josie sits down, scratching Hope's ear making the wolf wag her tail. She connects their foreheads then looked down at Nikolai who looked up at his parents with pure innocence. It makes it hard to believe that he took her life but she had no care for that. Hope transitioned back to her human form but kept her wolf fangs, gold eyes and claws.

"Josie." Hope muttered and Josie locked eyes with her lover.

"I'll be here for you both, no matter what." Josie placed a hand on Hope's cheek then pecked her lips.

"It's dang—" Hope was immediately cut off once the two had broken the kiss.

"I don't care. When have I ever cared Hope. I let a super beast maul me for you, I let an ancient creature possess me for you, I let myself fall in love with you, the supposedly most dangerous being. I'm okay with my son ending my life, I don't care anymore Hope. I just want you and them to be okay. That is my happiness." Josie bit her lip after her little out burst.

She is truly tired, she just wants to graduate, marry Hope and raise their little family. That is all she wants now and she is not about to let this unfortunate event ruin that. Her protection mark appeared scaring Hope expecting an enemy but nothing happened then it clicked. The mark had masked Josie, making Hope's wolf only sense her as another non-threatening wolf. The mere thought made the auburn smile, she is truly ready to spend the rest of her life with the smartest person she knows. They were both prepared for this now, now that is all to do is wait.
