It is a week before the Christmas ball and all of the kids are extremely excited, especially Hope since she can see her family again. The Mikaelsons had finally returned to Mystic Falls and Hope was at the manor to observe the dresses that her aunt Rebekah had brought from New Orleans for her.

"Why do you need dresses? Do you have two dates?" Rebekah teases.

"Absolutely not, only one. But I do have a best friend." Hope mentions and Rebekah smirk deepening.

"Oh? Then this dress would be perfect for Lizzie." She ushered the blue one.

"How so?" Hope questions.

"It's blue, it was for your mother and from your father, and it would look great on her. Now for this one, this is perfect for your date because it's red and I know how much you love red. Your mom also wore this and I'm sure she would look excellent in it." Rebekah explains.

"Stop pretending." Hope crossed her arms.

"Okay fine, yes I know it's Josie. Freya told me." Rebekah reveals.

"And how did aunt Freya find out?" Hope sighed.

"Josie must've told her, I don't know." Rebekah picked up the dresses and carried them to her car.

"Nice ride." Hope compliments.

"You're never going to drive it." Rebekah immediately shot down.

"I'm an excellent driver." Hope persists.

"Mhm." Rebekah hums, getting in the driver side of the car.

"I have kept up with uncle Elijah's car easily." Hope continued to try and persuade her aunt who only roll her eyes and start the car.

They made their way to the school and of course it was filled with playful bickering and laughter. The manor was fairly close to the school as well so it didn't take long for the two Mikaelson women to reach their destination. Getting out the car and grabbing the dresses, Hope led Rebekah to the twins who were in her room, no shock to anyone.

"You're back." Josie noted once they stepped through the door.

"Yeah, just came to show y'all your potential dress." Hope pointed to the two boxes and watched as Rebekah hand Lizzie one and herself the other, Lizzie eagerly opened her and gasped.

"This is beautiful oh my goodness, I'm definitely wearing this." Lizzie ran her hands through the fabric and Hope looked at Rebekah who gave an 'I told you so' gaze in return.

"Fitting, since it's blue." Josie stated and Lizzie giggles.

"You know me so well Mikaelson." She covered the dress and sent it to her room with a spell.

"Yes, we know how much you love blue." Hope teases and Lizzie smirks.

"Hm, so does Josie have a yellow dress?" She half jokes.

"No." Hope confirmed.

"No?" Josie rose her eyebrows in confusion.

"Look for yourself." Hope ushered.

"Red?" Josie asked after opening the box and observing the silky looking dress.

"This was my mom's." She mentions and Josie made a face Hope knew all too well, she was about to argue against whatever Josie was thinking until her aunt spoke.

"Who looked absolutely—" Rebekah started but immediately stopped herself remembering who she is speaking about and to. "I shouldn't say that." She cleared her throat.

"What were you about to say?" Freya appeared, through the door actually unlike another blonde whom name begins with L.

"Our niece is the tribrid dear sister to whom I fear, I would rather her not harm me for speaking about her mother." Rebekah crossed her arms.

"Fair." The other Mikaelsons women says in sync then laughed.

"It better not have been anything bad." Hope shrugs.

"This is Hayley we are talking about. That woman was a goddess." Rebekah sighs in remembrance.

"Oh right, you flirted with my mom a lot." Hope made a disgusted face from the memory.

"Could you blame me?" Rebekah asked with a fake scoff.

"No." Everyone in the room except for Hope responded with making Hope's jaw dropped.

"Hello???" She exaggerated.

"I'm not gay, I think and your mom is hot Hope, be grateful you're her spitting image." Lizzie rolled her eyes.

"But those eyes she gets from her father." Josie mentions.

"Klaus use to mention that it was the hint of the devil in them." Rebekah also informed.

"Enough about me?" Hope set the dress down next to Josie then took the other space on the other side of Josie for herself.

"No, your life is actually interesting." Lizzie claimed.

"Your uncle is a psychopathic serial killer and your mom is a surrogate." Hope stated and Lizzie gasped dramatically.

"Woah! This isn't about us." She gestured between Josie and herself as Josie giggles.

"Our families are a bit crazy, no offense." Josie implied the last statement to the older blondes and they shrugged.

"We lived for over a 1000 years, non taken." Freya laughs and so does the rest.

"There you are, Kol is being a brat again." Marcel appeared after spotting Rebekah.

"Hey Mg 1.0." Hope greeted making the twins laugh.

"That's just rude." Mg appeared and they laugh even more.

"Not my fault y'all have the same initials." Hope shrugs.

"They got the same initials, blonde significant others, skin tones and are both vampires." Josie listed.

"Damn...You won't even need to do a freaky friday because you two are already living the same lives." Hope mentions and the three giggle again.

"Now that they mention it..." Rebekah trails off making everyone laugh, including the boys.

"Reborn and you didn't even know it." Freya tells Marcel who shrugs.

"Anyways, I'll handle Kol." Rebekah tells her husband who gives her a nod then turned to Hope.

"Up for a sparring match?" Marcel challenges making Hope shoot right up.

"I'm so going to kick your ass, hell yes." She cracked her knuckles.

"Language." Freya scolds.

"Really?" Hope huffs.

"Yes really." Freya rose an eyebrow at the attitude.

"Right, sorry." Hope tells her before leaving the room with Marcel.

"Anyways, I have a son to get to. I'm sure you both will look beautiful in your dresses." Freya compliments the twins before exiting the room.

"They are never getting that dress back." Lizzie spoke.

"Like father like daughter." Josie says.

"What do you mean?" Lizzie questioned.

"Hope's dad gave our mom that dress, history seems to be repeating itself." Josie reveals.

"The difference is that Hope does NOT have a crush on me." Lizzie emphasizes.

"She doesn't have a crush on anyone." Josie shrugs.

"Sure." Lizzie tells her sister, disagreeably.

"Sure?" Josie rose an eyebrow at the tone.

"Oh we also will NEVER hook up in the woods." Lizzie ignored the hint Josie was trying to get and it seemed to have worked.

"Ew Lizzie." Josie made a disgusted face just from the imagine of her friend and sister having sex in the woods.
