I woke up and find myself in a car pulling into a huge house. I turned and looked over to see Mrs. Williams driving. What even happened?
She parked the car in the driveway and got out before walking to my side and opening the door. She unbuckled the seatbelt for me and helped me out of the car.
I was supposed to go out tonight to take my mind off of her and here I was, at her house. Iris insisted we go out to this new club that just opened up. She had gotten us fake ID's and everything this last summer so we could go out. I had a bad feeling about it and I knew I should have trusted my gut.
Mrs. Williams guided me up the front steps before stopping and unlocking her front door. We walked into the house and my god, it was beautiful. She had a monochrome theme going on. Her furniture was dark gray or black with light gray colored walls.
It fit her perfectly. I suddenly felt the urge to throw up. I think she understood because she quickly ushered me into the closest bathroom.
I kneeled down on the floor and threw up into the toilet. I felt as her cold hands touched the skin of my neck, picking up my hair and holding it behind me. I felt as another hand was rubbing my back, attempting to soothe me. It was working.
"Okay, let's get you cleaned up. You can stay in the guest room downstairs." She said softly.
We walked out of the bathroom and into a bedroom next door. She sat me down onto the bed before walking away slowly.
"I'll be right back. Give me a second." She says walking out of the room.
I looked around and the room was beautiful. The room was white with book shelves all around. The bed had a dark gray bedspread which made the room pop. There was a connecting bathroom along with a walk in closet.
After a couple of minutes, Mrs. Williams comes back with extra clothes and a glass of water. She sets the clothes down on the desk and hands me the glass of water. I grabbed it and brought it to my lips as I watched her watch me.
"There are extra towels in the bathroom cabinet and a spare toothbrush in the drawers. Let me know if you need anything okay? I'll come and check on you once you're done." She says looking into my eyes. I drank the whole glass of water before setting it down on the nightstand.
"Thank you Mrs. Williams. For everything."
She nodded and gave me a small smile before walking out of the room. I grabbed the clothes and walked into the bathroom. It was huge. There was a tub and a separate walk in shower. The countertops were black marble and the shower seemed so fancy.
I turned the shower on allowing it to begin to warm up. I slowly peeled all of the clothes off of my body before searching for an extra towel. I opened the cabinet and grabbed one before setting it on the towel rack.
I suddenly felt the urge to vomit so I ran towards the toilet emptying the contents of my stomach into it. It happened again before I finally felt much better.
I walked into the shower letting myself be completely surrounded by the warm water. I slowly felt like I was starting to sober up but I could still feel it. I felt some tears fall down my cheeks.
Things could have been so much worse if it hadn't been for Mrs. Williams.
I quickly washed my hair and body before stepping out and wrapping the towel around me. I walked over to the sink and looked at myself in the mirror.
My eyes were red and puffy. It was obvious I had been crying but I didn't really care. There wasn't anything I could do to hide it anyways. I found the spare toothbrush and brushed my teeth.
