I woke up completely content with life. Last night had been perfect. I had never been on a real date and yet it exceeded my expectations.

I fell asleep replaying every single moment in my head. She looked stunning. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her and she knew that. I continued to replay our kiss.

We kissed in such way that showed extreme passion and affection. I wanted to do way more than that but we stopped ourselves. Better yet, she stopped it.

This kiss was way more different than the one I had with Iris or even the ones with Elena. It meant so much more to me and it made me feel weak in my knees.

I couldn't believe that she went out of her way to plan all of that just for me. It still was hard for me to believe.

She payed attention to the things I liked, from my love of the ocean to my favorite flowers. She showed me she listened and cared about my interests. That only made me even more attracted to her.

I quickly got out of the bed. I got ready for my day with a huge smile on my face. Everything seemed so much easier when I was in such a good mood.

I even managed to make breakfast with Maggie. Buddy stood by my feet waiting for his occasional piece of fruit or bread.

"What's got you in such a good mood?" My mother asked coming down stairs.

"Nothing. Just happy." I shrugged and placed plates on the table.

We all sat down together for breakfast, even my father, for the first time in I don't know how long. The weekends usually meant everyone fended for themselves. At least that was the case for me.

I cleaned the kitchen and went up to my room. I didn't have any plans for the weekend except for my shift tomorrow evening. I laid on my bed and contemplated on texting Diana. I just wanted to know how she was doing.

I pulled out my phone and typed a quick message.

Me: Hey! How are you?

I laid and stared at the screen. It wasn't likely that she'd respond right away. As I was about to get up to occupy myself with something else, I felt my phone vibrate.

Diana: Hello Sweetheart. I am doing pretty well. How are you?

Me: I'm doing well too. What are you up to right now?

Diana: I'm just grading some papers right now. What are your plans for today?

Me: Not sure. I'm lying in bed right now. Don't have much to do.

Diana: Let me finish this work up and I'll pick you up for a little. How does that sound?

Me: Perfect :)

I had a huge smile on my face. I didn't think she'd want to spend time with me. I was just wondering what she was up to.

With my newfound excitement, I got out of bed and began to clean up my room. I put the flowers Diana had gotten me in a pretty vase and sat it on my nightstand.

Suddenly, I heard the doorbell ring. I headed downstairs and opened my door. Iris stood and smiled.

"Hey Bells."

"Hey Iris. What's up?" I say opening the door more for her to come in.

"Nothing much. Was just bored and wanted to see what you were up to. We haven't really talked much these last few days." She shrugged.
