Weeks have been flying by so fast. My relationship with Diana had been growing even stronger. During the week, we'd spend our TA session talking and laughing over random things while the rest of the time at school, we'd hardly look in each other's direction.
We continued this professional act anytime we were in public. We were careful and that's what mattered. This was to ensure that no one had any suspicions about us.
There were multiple times where Nate and Iris would ask more questions but the more I pushed, the less they asked.
On the weekends, Diana and I spent our time together. She always planned special dates, whether that meant driving out of town for a romantic night or staying in and watching movies.
Whatever it was, I was glad to even be spending any time with her. Everything had been perfect. It was almost too good to be true. She never failed to show me how much she cared for me too. Her feelings for me ran deep and she never was afraid to show me that.
We never had argued about anything. That was until tonight. It wasn't really an argument, it was more a disagreement.
It was Halloween day. I had mentioned to her this morning that there was a party that Nate had been invited too. One of the football players threw this huge Halloween party every year and I unfortunately had to go.
I didn't have to. But Nate and Iris counted on me to go. We went every year.
Diana didn't exactly tell me not to go, she just wasn't very pleased with the idea. Considering everything that has happened recently when I go to parties, I can't really blame her.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Diana asked again.
I was sitting in her classroom during our TA period. After this, I had planned to go to Iris's house to get ready together. Elena was also going to join us.
"I think so. I was wondering if you could pick me up?" I asked. "Like down the street or something so no one sees you obviously." I quickly added.
"I could do that. Send me the address right now and text me when you're ready."
"Okay. I will. I told them that I was getting picked up by you, that way they don't have to worry."
"How did you know I was going to say yes to picking you up?" She raised an eyebrow.
"I just really hoped my girlfriend wouldn't say no." I got closer to her and kissed her lips. This turned her frown into a smile.
The bell rang and I moved to grab my bag.
"Darling, can you just promise me you will be careful?" She grabbed my wrist gently.
"I promise. I won't be there for long anyways. I'm not in much of a party mood." I shrugged. "After the party, we can watch movies all night."
"Okay, I'll see you later." She kissed my cheek.
"See you later."

I sat on Iris's bed as she helped Elena curl her hair. I was glad to be invited but I did feel like a third wheel. I knew that one of the biggest reasons why Iris invited me was to try and not make her parents become suspicious about her and Elena.
She is still keeping it from her parents because she's afraid of how they will react. I get this because I feel the exactly same way right now. I can't tell my parents because of that but also considering the fact that Diana is still my teacher.
