Jeongyeon's Guardians

A/n: Much needed tooth rotting fluff ahead

It was a rare day at JYPE where most of the Korean groups of the company were in attendance, each working on separate projects. Itzy was rehearsing for their upcoming comeback while NMIXX was practicing new choreography. Stray Kids were in the middle of filming a new YouTube series and had just taken a break to get snacks. Felix and Bangchan were currently wandering around the halls, taking the opportunity to stretch their legs and maybe visit with the members of Xdinary Heroes.

"Hey, isn't that Sana noona?" Felix asked when he noticed the Japanese woman standing outside one of the special practice rooms.

"Yeah it is. Let's go say hi," Chan said. It was rare for them to meet their seniors at the company since Twice and Stray Kids had such hectic schedules so it was always nice to see them. Felix waved to Sana as they approached and called out to her.

"Noona! We were just coming to–"

"Shh! Not so loud," Sana admonished the Aussie. "Jeongyeon is sleeping." She indicated the room with a nod of her head.

"Oh! Sorry noona," Felix said quietly. "We just wanted to come say hi."

"Is Jeongyeon okay?" Chan asked with a hint of worry.

"She's fine, just tired. She's been wearing herself out these last few days with our new choreography," Sana said. "Jeongyeonie always wants to show her very best to Once so she's been practicing extra hard since this new dance is really challenging. Even Momo says it's hard."

Felix and Chan nodded in understanding. They knew how hard their seniors worked to make their performances seamless.

"We'll make sure to tell the guys not to disturb her noona," Felix said.

"Aww, thank you. Channie, take a break too," Sana said. "I don't want you collapsing on us either. I know how you get."

"Don't worry," Chan smiled, "I'll take care of myself."

"Yeah noona, we'll take care of him for you," Felix promised. "It was good to see you. Tell Jeongyeon noona we said hello."

"Alright I will. See you guys later." Sana waved goodbye as the two guys left.

A few minutes later Momo, Mina, and Dahyun appeared bearing drink carriers full of milk teas and coffees as well as a bag of snacks.

"Unnie, here's your strawberry matcha milk," Dahyun said as she passed the sweet drink.

"Thanks Dahyunie."

"Is unnie still sleeping?" Mina asked. She peered through the window pane to get a glimpse inside the room.

"Yep. Jeongyeonie hasn't moved since you guys left."

"Good. I hope she's resting well."

"Me too," Momo agreed. "I hate when she does this. I hope Jihyo calls Seungyeon unnie and tells her."

The four women decided to make themselves comfortable on the floor and enjoy their snacks. The company staff was used to their behavior and didn't even question why they were camped out in front of the practice room instead of going inside where there was comfortable seating.

"Seungyeon unnie is still on location filming for her new drama. We might need to call Mama Yoo this time," Sana said.

"Jeongyeon unnie will hate that," Dahyun chuckled.

"Yeah well she shouldn't have pushed herself so hard. We don't need her hurting herself."

They all remembered too well when she was recovering from her neck injury during the Alcohol Free promotions and had pushed herself beyond her limits. Sana still hated that she hadn't noticed sooner. She wasn't going to let anything like that happen again.
