what are we ?

Khao and First sat next to each other on Firsts bed. Neither of them said a word. They just kissed and told each other about their feelings but for some reason, none of them knew what to do know.

Are they a couple now ? He didn't ask Khaotung yet. Should he ask him ? Fuck, First was confused and nervous. He could feel his heart beat pretty fast. He never felt like this before so he wasn't sure what was the best step now.

"Hey boys ? The food's ready !"
"Coming mom !" "Are you sure it's okay for me to eat with you ?" "Oh hey, you've heard my mom. She made some extra food !" First said smiling. "Come on, let's go eat." First walked over to his door but Khao grabbed his hand and stopped him. "Are you alright ?" First asked worried but Khao didn't answer. "You don't have to be nervous. You know my mom. My dad is at my uncles so it's only her and us." He said smiling. Khaotung looked up into his eyes. "That's not what I wanted to say." He said and walked a bit closer. Without waiting any longer, he once again pressed his lips onto Firsts. It was a small peck but it meant the World to the both of them.

"First ? Khaotung ? Food is ready !" "We're coming mae !" First said loudly and smiled at Khaotung one more time. "Let's go." He said and opened the door.

"Oh this is really delicious." Khaotung said. Firsts mother smiled widely. "You can eat as much as you want dear. Do you want me to pack you some for at home as well ?" "Oh I can't accept that." "Nonesense dear, of course you can. I'll pack you some before you leave." "Thank you so much."

First poured some water into their glasses, when suddenly the babyphone went off. He nearly dropped the bottle and ran over to his sons room, leaving Khao with his mother. "Oh my poor Min.." she said. "First is a good dad. I'm sure Min will be fine soon." "Hm I sure hope so. It's my fault that little Min fell. I should've been more careful." "Don't blame yourself. It could have happened all the time." She smiled sadly and took a bite from her meat. "My First is a wonderful dad. It was hard but I couldn't imagine life without my grandchild anymore. I am glad that First and his ex girlfriend had him, even tho they were kids themselves. I always wanted to be a grandma. I mean, don't get me wrong, I thought my kids would be adults, married and with a stable job but.. fate had different plans and here I am." "I am certain this was the right thing even tho First and that girl were kids themselves - they did take responsibility for their situation." Firsts mom chuckled. "I am glad that First has full custody. He's a great dad and I am really proud of him. But enough of that. Khao, where do you live ? Or more like - where are you from ? Are you from Bangkok?" "No. Uhm..  I am from a small town behind Chon Buri." "That sounds nice !" Khaotung nodded slightly. "So your parents still live in that town ?" "Hm." He answered and nodded again. How the fuck should he tell that sweet woman that his parents are dead without her feeling uncomfortable around him ?

"Mae, Khao.. I am sorry. Min wouldn't stop crying and I-" "Dear, it's fine. Sit down ! Khaotung waited for you, but I continued to eat." She said with a little smile. "It's fine mae. Thank you Khao." He said smiling widely and Khaotungs eyes instantly lit up. "Is Min okay ?" "He is." The young dad answered smiling back at his friend. "So Khao, you met Fiat already?" "Oh yes. I did." Khaotung tried to relax his face but hearing that name, he couldn't help but to frown."I am sorry if he was rude. I don't know why he's like this. Ever since he was a Teenager, he became really mean towards every boy that dares to be close to his brother, even tho he's mean to First as well. But nevermind that. You know Khao, I really like you. You're always welcome here dear." "Thank you so much." Khaotung said, smiling kind of sadly. First grabbed the others hand under the table and squeezed it lightly. "Come on boys, eat your food." "Mae, I was wondering if Khao could accompany us to Pattaya next week ?" The boy turned around to look at First, confused and slightly in panic. "Oh that's a nice idea First. I'll ask grandma later and come back to you about it." "Thank you mae." First said and Khaotung awkwardly thanked her as well. The young father smiled at Khaotung and got a still confused, but happy smile back.

Lord knows how happy Firsts mom was, secretly knowing that her little boy found love again.

"Thank you for having me over." "Thank you for coming over." Khaotung held a bag with a  foodcontainer from Firsts mom. He had a tight grip on them, nervously playing with his thumbs that met under the bag. Both boys smiled at each other, none of them knew what to actually say or do now. Should they hug ? Kiss ? Give him a high five ? The fuck should First do ? "Hey Khao, I wanted to ask you.. what-" First stopped, hearing his son cry loudly over the babyphone once again. "I am sorry." "No, it's fine. Go take care of Min. I'll go now." Khaotung flashed his dimples, waved First and left in a hurry.

>Fuck..< Khaotung thought. He wanted to ask the other about them.. And he was actually sure that First was about to ask him just minutes ago.. but now..
"Fuck.. Fuck. Fuck." Minutes later, he arrived at his condo. He put his phone away, grabbed a towel and walked over to go take a shower, overthinking the whole situation. The hot water hit his skin, his heart couldn't stop beating fast as he thought about the kiss they shared. Khaotung needed to know what they are and he promised himself he was going to ask the other !

Hey guys, it's been a while.

I am so so so sorry for not updating. I had my final exams,  two surgeries in the past three weeks and I am currently dealing with a lot of pain due to that. That made it really hard to update.

I'll try my best with the next few chapters but please bear with me.
