"We're perfectly on time. If we walk to Min's kindergarten now, we can get a coffee first." First explained and Khao nodded. "We can do it." "Min will certainly be happy if we both pick him up." "He's certainly more excited about his por Khao than about you, First." "Oh, shut up, Mix." The friends laughed and ran to the exit, where shortly afterwards all their plans were disrupted. He looked inside those brown eyes and gulped. "Fiat.." "First.." he said. "Do you want to go grab a bite ?" First sighed and turned to Khao and their friends. Khaotung nodded and smiled slightly, seeing the fear in his boyfriends eyes. "I'll go pick up Singto." "I'll join you." Said Satang and nodded. First turned back to his brother and nodded. "Yes. Yes, I have time." "Cool..." said Fiat and played nervously with his lip piercing. "Can you walk?" asked First and somehow this question felt like so much more. It was the first step for both of them. "I'm still a bit slow, but if you don't mind, we can walk." Khaotung and the others watched as the two brothers showed a small spark of normality for the first time in weeks, months - years!

"Wait, I'll hold the door open for you." said First and pushed past his brother into the restaurant. They were in a small noodle shop, not far from their home. "Do you want to sit over there?" "Sure, I'll just follow you, First." explained the older one and shortly afterwards they found themselves at a large table.

"How's the treatment going in the hospital?" "So far, good. I'm making progress, but it will probably take a long time." "And your leg?" "I'll probably be beeping forever when I get to the airport." First furrowed his eyebrows and nodded. "My leg is almost just made up of clamps, screws and spare parts. Khaotung saved my life, the leg thing was or is probably the worst." "Well, the organ bruising isn't easy either."
Fiat nodded and played nervously with his lip piercing again. "Listen, First..." he began and his brother looked up. "I'm so sorry for what I did." "I know you wanted to protect me, but that was a really stupid idea. I thought you hated me because I'm gay." "No, shit, what do I care if you like boobs or dicks ? The main thing is that you're loved. Period, end." "That's not what it looked like. I was really disappointed and hurt. I didn't even had a real chance to tell you that I am gay. It was just out there. I know now that you knew but wanted to give me the chance to tell you myself.. But that went... horribly wrong." "That's true.." "But Fiat.. how did you even know ? I mean.. for real now." "Well, I don't know. I just did. It was like.. you know - when we knew the other one wasn't feeling well, back when we were kids." "So you mean our 'twin powers' told you that I am gay ?" Fiat nodded and First bit his lip, his eyebrows raised. "Damn, I was so worried about coming out to you guys." He admitted. "Why would you even worry ? Mae and por love you more than anything and you know that I love you as well." First smiled at his brother. "It was a hard time without you." "I am really so so sorry First. I hope that one day, you can forgive me." "I am actually sure that I can." Fiat looked at his brother, his eyes wide open. "Really ?" Again, First felt as if he was choking on his tears, but he couldn't hold them back. He just nodded and tried to smile. Fiat couldn't say a word either. He sat opposite First, nervously playing with his piercings and trying to discreetly wipe away the tears that were also falling. "I can't just pretend like nothing had happened, but if you really show me that you care about us getting along, then it will probably be easier for me to forgive you everything." Fiat nodded and for the first time in forever, the twins smiled at each other.

"I think we should update each other on a few things in our lives." "Like what, for example?" asked Fiat, grinning. "For example..." First began, raising his eyebrow. "Since when do you have an eyebrow piercing on the other side..." Fiat raised his eyebrows and looked at his brother. "Since when do you have that new motorcycle helmet..." "Or?" "Or... since when have you known Lilly..." "I knew that's what you wanted to talk about."

Another chapter and - They finally made up. I can't describe how happy I am that the two of them are finally not arguing anymore. It annoyed me so much to write that.. damn.
