Sun

A week went by and First was finally not sick anymore.
One of the reasons for this was probably Khaotung's help, for which the single father sometimes felt really guilty. Khaotung brought him chok, looked after Min, so that First could sleep when his parents were busy at the restaurant, and he brought First medication. First knew that Khaotung was doing all this purely out of love and that Khaotung was getting closer to him with every second. Every time Khaotung touched him and especially every time he saw how lovingly Khao treated Min-Joo, his heart was beating faster and faster.
Every moment they looked into each other's eyes, First wanted to pull him closer and press his lips to the other's. Hold him tight and bury his hands in Khaotung's soft hair... feel Khaotung biting his lower lip and do things-

"Hey guys." Mix interrupted his thoughts. For a second, First had forgotten that he wasn't alone and that he was sitting in the canteen. Mark and Earth were eating their food and talking, but First hadn't heard most of it. He was too lost in thoughts about his crush. "What's wrong? You look like you want to confess to having sinned." "What are you talking about, Mix?" laughed Mark. "Well look at his face. Have you had a dirty thought my sinner friend ?" "Shut up Mix, will you." First said laughing. "Yeah whatever. Yesterday I was at my place-" "Oh so you actually slept at your own condo for once." Mark mocked. "Pretty sure that's the reason why he's not limping." First laughed and earned himself a high five from Mark. Earth was laughing pretty hard but if looks could kill - Mix would've killed everyone at this table. "Hey guys." "Khaotung ! Finally someone normal here." Mix said and grabbed the others arm, so that Khao would sit down next to him. "I was about to tell a story but those idiots won't listen." "Well tell me the Story." Khao replied. "So yesterday I was at my place and I thought about how much space I have. So yeah - I know most of the time I am at Earths place but I thought about a way to use the space at my condo and I came up with a solution." "What's your idea ?" "I buy a puppy." "Huh ?!" Earth and Mark said out loud. First was confused. How the fuck did he come up with a puppy just because he has a lot of space ? "That's awesome ! I also have a dog. It's currently at my grandmas place because my condo doesn't allow pets." "Aw that sucks.. maybe our dogs become friends !" "That would be so cute !" "Uhm.. guys ?! Hello ? You can't get a puppy." Earth said and Mix immediately turned around. "Why not?!" "Because like you said - you're over at my place most of the time and at my condo is a no pets policy as well !" "We'll find a solution?" "No, Mix. You know I never say no to anything you come up with but this time it's really a no !" Mix rolled his eyes and suddenly Earth had a certain gaze. "Did you just roll your eyes ?" "Yes, and ?" Earth smiled but only with one side of his lips and finished his food. "He'll kill me later." Mix whispered to Khao. "I love it." He added. Khaotung giggled and so did Mix. First, Earth and Mark laughed and finally talked about their next project, while Mix and Khao continued to talk about dogs.

The friends ate their lunch, talked, laughed and the time flew by. The bell rang and everybody around them jumped up, but the friends stayed seated. They hated the big crowds that would try to make their way to the classroms and labs and shit, so lately they always waited until it wasn't as busy anymore. "Hey Khao, look." First said and showed him a picture of a cute kids Outfit. "That would suit Min so much !" He said excited. "Yes, I would love to buy it for him.." Khao thought for a second. "Hey, do you want to go to the mall with me later? We can pick Min up together and go?" First was happy about Khaotung's suggestion and how much he wanted Min to come along. "Sure, Min is at kindergarten today. It's on the way to the mall." Khaotung nodded and gave his crush a thumbs up. "We need to go to the mall as well some day." Mix said and side-eyed his boyfriend. "My boyfriend isn't like yours. He don't want to accompany me.

"Min-Joo, your dad is here !" A kindergarten teacher called for the little one but once Min saw that Khao stood next to his dad, he didn't care about First anymore. He ran over to the black haired man and opened his arms. "Min Min." Khao said as he picked the little one up from the ground. "I missed you." Min said and Khao stroked the back of his head. "I missed you too." "Go ahead, Min's stroller is in the room at the back by the entrance. I still have to sort something out." Khao nodded and ran to the wardrobe with Min in his arms, grabbed his shoes and went to Min's stroller as instructed. He put the little one in, put the shoes on him and pushed the stroller outside. "Khaotung ?" the person addressed looked up and his expression darkened. "Khao, I'm meeting you here of all places... With a stroller? Is that your child?" Khaotung instinctively stood in front of the stroller so that he wouldn't see the little one. "What do you want from me, Sun?" "Khao, come on, we haven't seen each other for so long and you're so dismissive to me?" "Khao?" said First as he left the kindergarten and went to stand next to the two of them. He noticed that Khaotung was tense and stood next to him. He pulled down the roof of the stroller, which slightly covered Min's face. He sensed that something was wrong and that Khao had probably tried to "hide" Min. "Khao come on, I missed you." "You missed me ? Sun please do me a favour, if I ever meant something to you, even tho I highly doubt it..- leave me alone."
Sun's expression darkened, but he nodded and said goodbye to the two of them. "Khao, is everything okay?" "I didn't think he would follow me here." "Who was that?" "First, maybe we shouldn't see each other so often anymore. Especially not with Min." "What are you talking about?" "I'm sorry." "Khao!" First said loudly and grabbed the others arms. "Calm down." Khao nodded hesitantly. "It's all fine." "No... no, nothing is fine and I'm afraid of dragging you both into this." "Into what?" "Into my messed up life." First let go of the other and tilted his head. "Khaotung, whether you like it or not, we are already a part of your life. You are definitely a part of our life." Khao tried his best to hold back his tears. He nodded and took a step towards First. The taller one took Khaotung in his arms and they stood like that for a moment. "Come on, let's go. Let's not let some weird guy ruin our day." Khao nodded, First grabbed the stroller and they made their way to the mall. They headed straight to the food court, ordered themselves some curry and sat down. Min was fidgeting in his stroller, nervously grabbing the air towards Khaotung. "You wanna sit on my lap little one ?" Khao asked and Min nodded. He picked up Min and sat back down with him on his lap. First watched them, smiling. "I told Mins kindergarten teacher at the kindergarten today that it's okay if you pick up Min in the future." said First and Khao smiled gently. For the younger one, this was a great sign of trust. "It means a lot to me that you trust me with Min like that." Khao said and First could tell he meant it..

Khao just wasn't really... here ? First enjoyed every moment with Khao and Min, but he could clearly sense that Khaotung was still upset because of that man earlier. "Khao, do you want to talk about what just happened?" The younger man swallowed and put his spoon on the table. Khao thought about it. He didn't really want to because he didn't want to burden the other man. But somehow he just wanted to get the whole thing off his chest.. Especially now that he could imagine having First as his boyfriend. "First.. I need to tell you something that nobody besides Satang really knows. I want to be honest with you about everything I've been through, even tho I am worried that you might want to leave me after that." "I would never leave you Khao. There's nothing that could make me be afraid of your presence." Khaotung took a deep breath, his expressions changed.

"My parents died and it was Sun's fault."
