"We have always treated our sons equally!" his father defended himself. "Okay, then you can surely tell me why Fiat didn't tell you about me? Or that we moved in together. Can you tell me one thing that Fiat likes to do? What hobby he has recently taken up? How were the last check-ups in the hospital? Do you have any idea what Fiat did before his accident? Did you call even once to hear your sons voice? You didn't give a damn about him the whole time. The only one he had was First. The only one who showed him that he was worth just as much. Now you thought you would have to bury your son and suddenly he was interesting, but as soon as your favorite child is gone, Fiat no longer matters." The two people looked at the floor. They seemed to realize that Lilly was telling the truth. "I told First the truth, why I was suddenly so shitty to him. Now please go away." Fiat said and tried to get up from the couch. Lilly took his parents to the door and closed it loudly. She was angry. Really angry. Fiat was shitty to First, no question about it, but his parents had been shitty to him since childhood and didn't even know it. "Those... damn..." Lilly stopped when she looked at her boyfriend. Fiat was standing in the middle of the room, his head hanging low and his hand over his eyes. "Baby, come here." she said and pulled the crying, big man into her arms. "I'm so sorry for what I did to First... I love him. I just wanted to protect him, my execution of it was just stupid." "Baby, I'm sure you can work this out." "I don't know, I did a lot of stupid things. I am sure he hates me." "Fiat, he is your brother. He doesn't hate you." "You don't know that." "Yes I do." She said and cupped her boyfriends face. "Hey First, Khao.." Lilly said and closed the door. She walked over to the hospital bed and gave her boyfriend a kiss on the head. "Hi baby." She said smiling sadly. "Have the doctors said anything about his condition?" First shook his head. "They just said he's stable and will wake up when his body allows it." Khaotung explained. "I'm going to get myself a coffee. Do you want something too?" "No thanks." said Lilly. "I'll have a coffee too. Thanks, honey." said First and looked after his boyfriend. Now he was alone with Lilly and Fiat. First immediately felt himself in fight or flight mode and hoped fervently that Khao would be back soon. "Oh Fiat..." said Lilly and stroked his head. First looked at the young girl and somehow he was sad. Sad because until recently he didn't even know what this girls name was, but she seemed to be his brothers whole world. What would have happened if the two of them had never argued? He would have introduced her to him. Everything would have been fine. "Thank you for being here, First." First looked up and into her face. "What?" "Thank you for being here. Well, I mean... despite the situation. Fiat would be very happy if he'd knew you're here." "I doubt that..." he said quietly, but Lilly shook her head. "I'm serious, First. Fiat thinks you hate him-" "What?" "Fiat thinks you hate him." "Hell no." said First, hurt. "Fiat treats me like shit, but Lilly..." he said, breathing in and out deeply. "If I'm honest, I still have hope that he'll go back to normal. He seems to hate me, but he's my brother and I love him. Maybe I'm stupid for holding on to the old days and our good relationship... but I do." "You're not stupid. Fiat would surely be mad if he knew I was telling you this, but Fiat is doing the same. He misses you and your relationship." First smiled sadly. His shining eyes looked straight at his brother. "I just want my brother back..." he said.
