"We should be at the hotel in about ten minutes." First said and Khaotung nodded. They were on their way to the same hotel as they were back when they couldn't go home due to the road closure. "Wait." Khao said. "Wait !" He repeated ... and First pressed the brakes. "What? What is it?" he asked in a panic and drove as far to the side of the road as he could so as not to hinder anyone in the following traffic. "I don't want to go to the hotel." "What?" "I want to go home." he said hesitantly and looked over at his boyfriend, who understood and swallowed. He knew that wasn't a good idea, but Khaotung insisted.

The two took the next exit and soon found themselves in a small street. First knew his way around here, because Coco lives over there on the right. He remembered her birthday. Seeing Khaotungs nervousness and his look behind him, at the house opposite Coco's house. He was able to put two and two together, and First knew what kind of house it must be. "Over there. You can stop in the driveway."
"Khao are you sure that this is the right thing to do ?" Khao looked into his boyfriends eyes without saying anything. "I mean - staying here, is it the right thing to do ?" "First, I need to do this." First sighed. "I'm just worried, Khaotung. You get a call in the middle of the night because the grave has been desecrated again. You've thrown up several times, you couldn't wait to get out of there and now you want to spend the night in your old home?"
"First, you don't have to understand me, but you have to trust me when I tell you - I need this. Urgently." First sighed and nodded hesitantly. Khaotung needed this and he would do anything to make Khao feel better. He pulled the key out of the ignition and got out, just like Khaotung. While the younger man ran to the house, First grabbed their luggage from the back seat and locked the car. "Are you ready?" he asked when he finally stood next to Khao. The younger man tried to put the key in the lock, but his hands were shaking. First grasped his hand with his own and felt the cold emanating from Khaotungs skin.
He was very worried and expected a real horror scenario. Would they even be able to sleep in the house? It has been empty for years. Would there be mold and dirt everywhere? He was worried about Khaotungs health. The door opened and he hardly dared to look inside, but in front of him was a clean, well-kept and beautiful hallway. He followed Khao inside and every single room was clean and well-kept. "My room is upstairs. Do you lock the door?" First did just that and followed his boyfriend upstairs. Without saying anything more, Khaotung opened the door to his room. It almost looked as if it had been completely redecorated. First put down the bags and slowly walked over to Khaotung who sat on his bed already.

"You know, my parents loved this house dearly. It was payed off, two days before I was born and they basically just bought it, so that I can have a stable home." "That sounds really cute." "I had a lot of first things I wanted to experience here. My first love, my first crush. First pet, first time, first fight. Growing up. I never had the chance to do so." "I am sorry Khaotung.." "Don't be. I'll make sure that Sun will be sorry for doing this to my parents." First nodded. "My grandma sends someone to clean twice a week, a friend of hers looks after the house." "Your grandma cares about this house a lot too, right ?" Khao nodded. "She wants it to stay nice for me if I come back." "If you come back?" "The house belongs to me." he explained and First nodded. "They left it to me along with every baht they had." "And do you ever want to come back? Live here?" Khao started to grin. "I could imagine moving here with you and Min when we finish university. A nice idea, but I guess this is just a dream." "It's cute that you think about moving with us." "Of course you guys are my family. "You are our family Khao. I couldn't imagine a better father for Min than you." First said smiling and so did Khao. "I love you." "I love you too."

The two of them sat next to each other on the bed and suddenly First had tears in his eyes. "Baby, what's wrong?" "I'm so sorry that I can't protect you. I can't even do that now that I'm your boyfriend." "Baby, don't say that. I wouldn't be able to get through all this without you." Khao gave First a kiss on the cheek, on the nose and finally on the mouth.
"Thank you First," he said quietly and hugged the older man tightly. "I love you so much Khaotung." "I love you too Fir fir." ... "Are you hungry ? Let's go make some breakfast." Khao suggested and soon after, they sat at the table in the kitchen, eating some american pancakes after Khaotungs mom's recipe. First could feel Khaotungs tension even though he acted as if everything was okay. First couldn't begin to imagine how his boyfriend must be feeling and Khaotung couldn't begin to imagine how much this was affecting First. For now, there was nothing more they could do than wait until the police got in touch.

It was ten o'clock, Khaotung was finally asleep, when his cell phone rang again. "We have the guy who desecrated the grave." said the man on the other end and once again all of Khaotungs emotions came flooding back. Rung asked the two of them to come to the police station. First stroked Khaotungs back and held his other hand. The pale boy stared into the emptiness of his room. "I feel sick." he said. "I think I have to throw up." First immediately jumped up and frantically looked for a bucket for the boy, who had just burst into tears again. He grabbed the first round object that First saw, a vase from the hallway, and ran back to Khaotung, who immediately threw up again. The stress was not good for his body. He knew that as well as First, but Khao would not get any rest until Sun was behind bars.He mentally prepared himself to look into his 'uncle's' face. "Here." said First and handed him a wet cloth. "I'm sorry." "What? That you have to throw up? Why should you be sorry?" "No, I am sorry for all of this, First. That I dragged you into my life without preparing you for the sick shit that goes on in my life." "Stop apologizing, Khao. Darling, you didn't do anything wrong." Khao twisted his mouth and as soon as he felt the tears burning in his eyes, he felt that lump in his throat again and threw up. First stroked his back and even though Khaotung was embarrassed, the other didn't leave his side.
Khaotung needed a while to pull himself together before he was finally ready to drive back to the police station. First drove again, the younger one just wasn't up to it at the moment. Neither of them knew what was really in store for them, but they both agreed - the fact that it wasn't Sun who was now sitting in the interrogation room in front of them had hit them both like a blow..

The young man, in his late twenties at most, sat there with a dirty grin, as if he knew that First and Khao were standing behind this two-way mirror. Rung was already preparing him for the fact that the interrogation could be tough, but since Khao had no idea who this man was, he wanted to listen in on the conversation.

"You know that you're really in deep shit, right?" asked Rung, but the man didn't answer. "What's your name?" "..." Rung sighed in annoyance. He threw the folder in front of the man and he looked down at the pictures of the graves. "Why are you doing something like that? Do you have any idea what the relatives of these two people are going through?" "..." "Were you there last time too? And this time before that, and that time before that?" "So what? I want a lawyer." Rung shook his head and leaned against the table. "Kamon Kongchai Khamsaen." He said and suddenly the guy looked up, a slight panic in his eyes. "Oh are you surprised that I know your name ?" "I want to talk to my lawyer." "It's a shame your lawyer is still on the way. I want to know if it was you who desecrated the graves each time." "Fuck you." Rung laughed and suddenly stood up. He ran around the man and bent down until they were eye to eye. "What do you think the inmates will do to you when you go to prison, you miserable piece of shit." "..." "Don't worry, I know it was you and I will do everything I can to prove it." said Rung and walked towards the door of the room. "Where are you going? Let me go." "You're in custody. You're not going anywhere. Now you can at least wait for your lawyer.
"Wait!" but Rung closed the door. First and Khao stood behind the two-way mirror and watched the guy shouting loudly "fuck you" and "you motherfucker." and more. The door behind them opened and when Rung came back in, Khao sighed. "His lawyer is drinking coffee in the back, I'll keep him squirming a little longer so he can think about making his confession. Khaotung, I ask you to stay reachable for me, okay ?" Khao nodded. "If you have any questions, call me. Let the main office put you through to me." They both nodded again and Rung was about to leave when Khaotung stopped him. "Thank you, Rung." He nodded with a smile on his lips and left the room.
