Confession

"Okay, so I understood the part about the policeman, but there's one thing I don't understand..." said Coco and looked at Khaotung. "What the hell is Sun doing here?" she asked and pointed at him and Khaotungs grandma. "This is your parents' house..." "Coco, I explained the whole thing to you... Besides, we need him for the plan. How the hell are we supposed to get anything else sorted out?" "Well, I don't know, but it feels wrong that he's here." "Well..." Sun began and sighed. "I agree with you. For me, it feels wrong too... I mean... wrong is not the right word... it feels strange to be here, after everything that happened and everything you believed." "Hey, don't act like that, buddy." First said and stood up. "Khaotung listened to you, but you're still partly to blame and no one has forgiven you either." He said angrily. He leaned forward and put an arm around Khaotung as if he wanted to protect him. "I didn't mean it like that, I'm sorry if my intention came across the wrong way with my sentence." The man apologized and pressed his palms together. "I'm not here to talk or fight about this now. I want to talk to you about the whole situation and how we can make sure that this asshole will get his penalty."
"So what is your plan ?" "We need to talk to Arya." Coco gulped. "I know what you think, but we have to. I know he's your friend but he's also the son of the police chief." "And why is this important ?" "His father was working on a big drug case. He took a bribe from Kamon. That was the only reason he was still free. If he had been in prison, my parents would still be alive. And besides, Sun is sure that his father knew, that it was Kamon who killed my parents."

"Are you sure this will work?" "Coco, you know he's had a crush on you for ages. If he's going to talk to one of us, it's going to be you." said Khao and the young woman nodded. she took a deep breath and got out of the car...
"Do you think this will work out ?" "I am sure it will babe." Said Khao and smiled at First.

Half an hour later she came out again. The fact that she had just visited a policeman at home and tried to question him felt completely surreal to everyone.

"Coco, how did it go?" First asked nervously. "Okay.. He has no idea about the case, his father never talked about it.." "But..?" "But.." There was a knock on the car window and Khaotung looked the young man in the eyes. "Arya" "Khaotung." he said and signaled to the boy to roll down the window. "What's going on here?" "What? Coco asked if I could come to pick her up. Is that a crime?" "Khaotung, don't play dumb." "Hey, be careful." First said. "Whistle your bulldog back. I want to help you. But to do that I need to know the truth." Khao looked at his counterpart skeptically. "Come on, you can trust me. I'm a policeman." "Your father is one as well and he was involved in the murder of my parents." Arya looked at Khao with big eyes. "Get in, we're going for a drive." he said and shortly afterwards the four of them were sitting in the car on the way to Khaotung's house."

"So you want to tell me that that piece of shit Sun wasn't the murderer of your parents?" "That's exactly what we're saying. And by the way - that's Sun." said Coco and pointed to the older man. Arya looked at him, awkwardly waiing as the other man bit his lower lip confused. "Coco, come on, I would do a lot for you, but betray my father?" "Arya, you would help to uncover a murder case and finally give Khaotung some peace." ... "You owe him that." The young man sighed and thought back to all the times they were mean to Khaotung as kids, without knowing why. "Let's go through the whole thing again..." He said and made some notes... It was a long evening. Khaotung had to go through everything he had experienced and heard over and over again, but in the end he heard the words he really wanted to hear...

"I will help you."

The friends thanked the young policeman and Coco even got up to give him a kiss on the cheek, which made him blush like crazy.
The young people did all they could. Now it was Suns part to help. He remembered every little from that day and Arya asked him to tell the whole Story, so that he'd knew what to look for. Khaotung sighed. He didn't really felt like going through this a fifth time today, but he had to..

The name Kamon, a drug scandal in which a guy, nicknamed >Killer< was involved, animal anesthetics and an old warehouse in Bangkok. These were keywords for the young policeman. And suddenly Sun said something that caught Khaotung's attention.
>Achi1978.< "Wait." "What ?" "This name, what does it mean?" he asked nervously, which also made the others a little nervous. "It's one of the code names for Kamon deals." "Khaotung, what's going on?" "Satang wrote to me weeks ago that an account with this name wanted to follow him. Achi1978." The group looked around. "Does that mean that Kamon has had you in his sights for weeks and that the grave desecrations and the break-in were a warning to you?" "Maybe." "But why ? You didn't even do shit, besides hating Sun. Isn't that like.. exactly what he wants ?" "It wasn't a warning to Khaotung," said Sun, drawing all their attention to himself. "It was a warning to me. He knew I was out of prison and he knew that I somehow wanted to be part of Khaotungs life. He was probably scared. Scared of my possible confession."
