"Thank you for waiting na Khaotung. Here is your food." The young boy grabbed the bag, thanked the woman and made his way back to his condo. The weather was nice, his way back home wasn't that long so when he arrived ten minutes later and finally arrived at his level, he wanted nothing more than to finally eat. But his appetite disappeared when he looked ahead and saw Sun standing there. Khao looked into the face of the tall, thin man. He was hardly recognizable. Prison had left a mark on him, Khaotung had noticed this back then, when he saw him through the peephole. His hair was longer and he now had a beard. Khao would think he was a stranger if he didn't recognize that disgusting, self-assured smile. "Khaotung, Pumpkin." Sun said loudly and Khao could feel the sudden rush of sadness creeping up. "Khao-" "What the fuck are you doing here ?" "What ? I just missed my nephew. Am I not allowed to-" "No, you're not. And I don't want you to come here again in the future. How the fuck do you even know where I live ?" "Grandma told me." Khaotungs face went pale. >Grandma ? He knows where Grandma lives ?< "She would never tell you shit about my life !" "Oh well she knows that I don't have anything to do with your parents death. Your parents were my family Khao, you ! You were my family." "No Sun, you never saw me or my parents as your family. You only needed my dad to do the fucking work for you so you don't have to do it." "No, I really saw you guys as my family !" "Fuck off Sun !" "Oh for fucks sake Khao, please let us talk !" Khao made a few steps towards the taller man and scoffed. "I will never waste my time by giving it to you." Khao walked up to his door and violently bumped into Sun, before he stepped inside his condo and slammed the door shut. "Fucking asshole." He said. "I wish that you'd get lost." He stood at the door for a while and tried to calm his rapidly beating heart. >I'll call grandma.< he thought to himself, but he hesitated. He didn't really want to burden her and he couldn't imagine it anyway. She would never betray him. She hadn't protected him for years and raised him like her own child, without even being related, just to betray him now.

He put his food down onto his table, grabbed his phone and dialed his grandmas number. The beeping made him nervous and after three rings, she finally picked up. "Khao darling ?" "Grandma, did you know that Sun is out of prison ?" His grandma gulped. "Yes. Yes I knew.. He called my daughter and asked for me and you." "Did you give him my adress?" "Khao, I would never do that !" She said, pretty offended. "I know.. I am sorry for asking." His grandma hummed. "Khao.. did he visit you ?" Khao looked through the peephole on his door. "Yes. He just left." "Khao, please don't get involved with him !" "Grandma, I would never. He's probably just trying to win me over so that he has another idiot that'll do the dirty work for him." "Exactly dear ! Please don't let him use you." "I won't grandma. I honestly just want him to rot in jail.." "My dear boy, I also want him to receive a punishment that is appropriate, but as long as we can't prove anything, the punishment he received is the only thing we can hold on to." "Grandma, I really miss my parents." His grandma was silent for a minute. "Grandma ?" "Khaotung you know.. back then when I noticed your parents were struggling, I offered them to help. They never asked me for money, not once. The only thing they asked me for was to listen to them. I always thought of your parents as my family and I always thought of you as my family. Your mom was like my daughter and it felt like I lost my own kids when they died. I promised myself that I will protect you, no matter what." Khao tried his best to hold back his tears. "I am really thankful to have you grandma." "Khaotung, I miss your parents as well. And I wish that we can see them again in another life. I am sure they're reborn into wonderful families by now." Khao nodded and then he remembered that his grandma can't see him over phone, so he just hummed. He didn't want her to hear him sob. He didn't wanted to cry on the phone while talking to her. "Grandma, I miss you." "My boy, I miss you so much and Jaidee does as well. My daughter taught Jaidee to give me her paw. Next time you're here, she'll have to show you. I really hope that I can see you again soon. I love you so much my Khao." "I love you too grandma. So much."

Khaotung stood under the shower when he suddenly heard a knock on his door. "I swear to god Sun, I'll slap the shit out of you.." he murmured, turned off the water and tied a towel around his waist. As quietly as he could, he crept to the door where he looked through the peephole. "Ow!" he said loudly and tore the door open. "First!" he said with a broad smile. "What are you doing here?" "Khaotung, this is a small robbery." he said and pushed the other into the apartment. "Go get dressed, I'm waiting for you." "What are you talking about?" giggled Khaotung. "I'm taking you on a date and I won't take no for an answer." Khaotung's heart began to race. "A date?" "Yes. Min is staying with my parents tonight, he is a little sick but my mom told me she'll take care of him, so the evening and the night is completely ours." First smiled and Khaotung tilted his head. He knew that the other must've been so nervous and he thought that was really cute. He would have loved to throw his arms around the taller man's neck, but he tried to control himself. "First, you can't imagine how happy I am right now." he said and took a step towards First until he noticed that the other man was blushing. "Is everything okay?" he asked and put his hand on the tall man's forehead. Khaotung followed Firsts gaze down to his stomach and grinned dirtyly. "You little pervert." he said. "Now that the nervousness of asking has passed, you're only realizing how I'm standing here, right? Half naked. Ready for everything." "Khaotung..." First began and looked up into his eyes. Khaotung looked at him challengingly. He still wouldn't mind having a bit of fun with the other man, but he found it incredibly sweet that First wanted it to be something special. "I'm going to get ready. I've annoyed you enough," he said. "Just sit down and make yourself at home." Khaotung walked past First, but suddenly the taller one grabbed his arm. "You're driving me crazy with that body of yours, Khaotung," he said honestly, and now it was Khao who was blushing. "You can join me in the shower if you want." "Go get ready." First answered in a high pitched voice.

"I really enjoyed our sleep over last time. Maybe we can do this again sometime ?" Khao and First walked next to each other, they were on their way to a restaurant. "Yes I would love that. Maybe we could have a sleep over at my condo next time ?" Khao nodded. "Hey First, can I tell you something ?" "Sure, what's up ?" So you know... I know this is very random, but thanks to you I slept really well for the first time in a while." "I'm glad, but what do you mean?" "Well, I've been taking sleeping pills and tranquilizers for years. I'm plagued by nightmares. Something like the night in the hotel. I dream about the day my parents... died." Khaotung pressed his lips together. "I really haven't had a restful sleep for years. The night in the hotel, I had a nightmare, apparently my pills didn't work because of the alcohol and I probably had a bad dream due to the amou The day you were with me, I honestly completely forgot about my pills, but I was still able to fall asleep and I even slept without dreams. Also... I finally had a restful sleep." "Khao, you make me blush.. I am really happy for you." The two stopped and looked at each other. Khao grabbed the other's hands and smiled broadly. "Thank you for making me feel safe First." "Can I hug you ?" Khao nodded and shortly afterwards he felt this feeling of closeness that felt so healing for him. This feeling of being so close to First that he could feel his heartbeat. Khaotung loved this feeling. Firsts movements, hugging his upper body. Khaotung felt the love that he had never felt for anyone before. Neither of them wanted to break the embrace until Firsts phone rang. It was his mother and the young man answered immediately. He talked to her frantically for a moment, but then First sighed and hung up. "Is everything okay ?" First nodded. "Yes, she just wanted to tell me that Mins fever had gone up again." "Is he okay ?" "Yes, just a little flu. It will go away quickly." The smaller one hummed in response. "When I was sick as a kid, my mom always made me chok." "Yes, my mom did that too !" "I guess this is a typical thai mom thing." The two boys laughed and continued to talk as they made their way to the restaurant to have a wonderful time together.
