Happy Satang day !

Two weeks passed and First and Khaotung were on their way to Winnys home to celebrate the birthday of Khaotungs best friend - Satang !
He's turning nineteen today and Winny wanted to make it special. He asked his parents if they could hang out in the garden at their home, since it's big enough to easily fit eight people.

Earth and Mix arrived at the same time as First and Khao. They sat down in the garden, talked a lot, laughed a little and once Mark and his girlfriend Namu arrived, Winny served some traditional thai food that his mom made. "Enjoy the food guys !" He said and gave his first bite to Satang, who smiled and giggled. "Satang, how are you so cute, yet such a.. freaky boy." Mix asked laughing what made Satangs cheeks go red. "P'..!" He whined. "He's not lying tho. I'll ask myself that question since you became my boyfriend." Winny teased. "Ow, p'ter.. today's my birthday. You're not allowed to tease me." "Er er okay, I'm sorry." He said laughing. "The food is delicious." Earth said and put some more on his plate. "I'll tell my mom later. She made it since it's Satangs fave dish." "That's cute. Your mom likes Satang a lot." "It's easy to like me Namu, I am cute, polite and funny. That's why our class calls me their child." "That's true. We all kind of adopted him since he became part of our department." Mark explained and she giggled. "That's cute. I guess you're protected at all costs." "Oh believe me, Winny would kill everyone who tries to hurt his boyfriend. He don't even need all those classmates for that." Mix said and everyone agreed. "First can you hand me the bowl please ?" Winny asked but First didn't react. "First ?" "Hm ? Oh sorry, I didn't hear you." "It's fine. Can you hand me the bowl ?" First nodded. Khaotung and Satang exchanged worried glances. "Hey First, how is your brother ?" Mark asked serious. "He's still at the hospital. Mae said he's doing better but he's far from getting released." "Did you speak to him already ?" First shook his head no. "I don't know how. I mean - he hates me, right. Why should I even try talking to him." "He doesn't hate you." Khao said. "You heard his girlfriend." "Come on, as if she'd admit that he hates me." "First, I am sure your brother doesn't hate you." Earth said. "Yeah whatever, I don't wanna talk about it." "Sooner or later you have to talk to him." Mix argued but First ignored it. "Eat guys. It tastes better when it's hot !" Winny tried to change the subject. "I heard Min had a sleepover at your place Earth ?" The tall man put the spoon down and nodded. "Yes. He was at our place for a week. We enjoyed it a lot." "Min did as well. He couldn't stop talking about you two for the whole last week." Khaotung said smiling. "See Mark, we're his favorite uncles." Mix teased his friend, who simply laughed. "Yeah yeah whatever floats your boat." "Min ? Your son, right First ?" "Yes. You'll get to know him in the future, I'm sure." "He's so cute my darling. And - he looks exactly like Khao and First. Look." Mark showed her a picture of the little one and she instantly smiled. "Aw, your babyboy is so cute guys ! Can't wait to meet him !" "I'm sure you're going to be his favorite aunt." "Well, am I not the only aunt he has ?" She giggled and the others did as well, but First shook his head. "No, actually not." He said smiling sadly. "He has another aunt. My brothers girlfriend. But yes, I am sure he'll love you just as much, Namu."

The friends ate, drank and talked and after a while, Khao suggested that Satang should open his gifts. The gifts were on a lovingly decorated table and it was almost a shame to destroy the aesthetic image by taking something away.
"Which one would you like to open first?" Winny asked, standing next to the table. "You said I should open yours at last, right ?" Winny nodded. "Then.. I'll take the one Mark and Namu brought." Winny nodded and handed him the colorfull package. "Sit down." Satangs boyfriend said and handed the birthday boy the package. "We thought you could use this, now that you wanted to do your internship at an arts gallery." Namu said as Satang ...opened the present and took out a large sketch pad and charcoal pencils. "Are you crazy? Those pencils are unbelievably expensive!" The young boy said smiling widely. "Thank you so much guys !" "Everything for my son." Said Mark chuckling. "This one is from Earth and Mix." Said Winny and handed him another gift. Satang clapped his hands together before he opened the package carefully. He looked at the little box in which he found a beautiful necklace. "That looks beautiful ! Thank you so much !" He said and handed Winny the jewlery. "Can you please put it on me ?" He asked and of course his boyfriend helped him. "I love it." "I am happy to hear that." Said Mix and smiled. "It looks awesome on you." Earth added. Winny handed the young boy another gift. "This is from First and Khao." Winny said and handed him a black envelope. He opened it and read the card first. He began to smile, reading some really heartfelt words from his best friend, about how grateful Khao is to have Satang and hoe much he loves his best friend. "Thank you so much Khao." He said. Khaotung smiled as well and Satang grabbed the other card that was inside. "No, guys you are crazy !" Satang said again. "What is it ?" Asked Mix curious. "They gifted me a weekend trip for me and Winny." "That's nice !" Mix said excited. "You guys bought me such expensive things ! I was just happy that I can spend my birthday with you guys." "Satang you deserve it." First said. Satang couldn't stop smiling at his friends. He felt very emotional about everything. "The last gift." Winny said and handed his boyfriend another envelope. He stepped behind Satang and let him read the whole letter out loud.

"Satang, my darling. Happy birthday. I can hardly believe how many wonderful years we have been able to spend together and I am looking forward to the next few years with you, into eternity. You are my everything. My best friend, my rock in the storm. You are the love of my life and I am grateful for every day that I can wake up next to you and be by your side. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I want you to know that I will always love you. Satang, will you..." Satang tilted his head and turned the page over, but there was nothing there. He looked at his friends and finally turned around. "...marry me ?" Winny finished the sentence. He was kneeling behind Satang's chair and was holding a small box with a ring in his hand. Satang stood up, pure shock mixed with joy clearly visible on his face.
Winnys heart was beating fast and he was sure the others were hearing it. Satang began to cry pretty loudly and finally answered -

"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" he said and threw his arms around his now fiancé's neck. Their friends cheered and clapped, took photos and were happy for their friends. Many told Winny that he was stupid for getting engaged so young, but for him only one thing mattered - his love for Satang and the fact that he could never love anyone as much as he loved him - His fiancé.
