It is time to film again. The last time before you'll be going to Kyoto to crush them at a volleyball match.
Currently, Atsumu and Atlas are reading over their lines. Atlas sits in her costume, twirling a spoon between her fingers as she reads the script, while Atsumu leans against the table with a smug look on his face like he already knows his lines. You know better than that, Atsumu will fuck it up a couple of times before everyone gets annoyed and he nails it.
"Is the lightning good?" Rowen asks, squinting at the screen on the camera.
"Good enough," Thomas replies, adjusting the reflector. He hasn't said much this morning, because every time he sees you and Calum, he gets a little jealous. He wants to be close to someone too– and let that someone be the girl right in front of him, Rowen Chamberlain.
You and Calum are off to the side, not keeping your distance anymore, which you did all the other times you were filming. But now? Now everyone knows that you and Calum are... well, something, you are guessing. Not together, not exclusive, but everyone knows that there is something going on.
You have the script rolled up in one hand, and Calum keeps nudging you with his elbow every few seconds to get your attention, whispering something that makes you laugh. You're supposed to be directing, but nothing of that is happening much today.
"Do you two have to act like you're starring in a romance film together?" Thomas mutters as he passes you two, not caring that he sounds jealous. You two are his friends, you can handle it.
"Sorry," Calum says, grinning slightly. "Not sorry, Thomas."
"Y'all are such children," Thomas sighs as he throws another script at Calum. "Don't you have better things to do. I don't know, run that camera or something?"
"Well..." Calum says, eyeing you for help, but you shrug. "Thomas is right. Why aren't you at your station, setting up the camera?"
He pouts in defeat and stands up. "I'll go."
Just as Inuoka is calling for a quick check if everything is alright, the sound of laughter is heard from a little away from you all.
"Oi, film nerds!" Kuroo's voice can be heard from a distance, and you recognize him instantly. What is he doing here?
Everyone turns their head when a group of familiar faces walks up to you; Kuroo, Kaykay, Kenma, Osamu, Rin, and Kaiya, all carrying iced drinks and bags of convenience store snacks.
Oh, you love coffee and snacks.
Kuroo lifts a hand so he doesn't have to stare into the sun reflecting on the window. "We heard you guys were turning this campus cafe into... uh, Hollywood? Yeah. Figured we'd crash, or something."
"Oh god," Inuoka groans at his upperclassman, already walking over to grab a coffee from Kenma. "Wouldn't expect anyone to crash a film set, but thanks for the coffee."
"Wow," Kaiya says, eyes scanning the set, which is basically just the campus cafe, but then transformed so it fits the vibes of your film. "You really turned this cafe into... Well, I guess something else. It's kind of impressive what some props can do."
"Don't look so surprised," Rowen mutters as she checks the framing again, stealing a glance at Thomas standing a few feet away from her. "We're not as bad as you might think."
"I never thought you were bad! I'm just impressed this is from students and not an actual set."
"Well, it's all thanks to this beauty," Atsumu grins, leaning over the table as he looks at you and moving his hands like he's presenting you to the others. "Our Miss Future Oscar Winner."
