"So this is how we're going to do it," you say as you look at the team. "I know it looks like we might not have any idea about volleyball, but we do. We know some of you from High School, and we know what you can do, and that's why we're helping the coach, especially Rin."

Suna crosses his arms as he looks at you, his head tilting a little. He can see how much you, and the other two too, have grown over these years. You're more confident. He likes it. The confidence looks good on you.

"We have an important match coming up. We're going to Kyoto next week to play a practice match," you say, looking around the group. "And as I mentioned before, it's just for practice, but I know some of that team and to them, this isn't just practice. We need to show them what we can do and if we don't, they will get cocky. Do we want that?"

The team shakes their head. They all listen to you carefully. The attitude you have... You seem to know what you're doing.

But Kageyama hates it. He hates it so incredibly much, even more so because he thinks it's hot.

He's not supposed to find you hot. If anything, he must think you're the most annoying and unattractive person to ever exist. But after all these years you haven't grown more annoying, no, you've become more attractive. He hates how hot you look.

"Does the Kyoto team have Oikawa Tooru as their setter?" some first year guy asks, his head tilting a little. "I heard that team is pretty good."

Rin nods at his words. "Yes, Kyoto is the team with Oikawa. A lot of other players we know from high school are in that team as well, and they're good. They're all into volleyball just like you guys, so we got to do our best. We will show them a fight and show them no mercy for when the real matches start."

A second year raises his hand, "Are you guys sure we can do it? Don't they have Oikawa as a first setter and Akaashi as the second one? And they also have Bokuto Kotaro, right? He's an amazing wing spiker that declined a professional team because he wanted to finish university. And do they also have that short kid, Hinata Shoyo? I saw him once on television."

Rin shrugs at the guy his words. "I'm not worried, are you? You're right, they're good, but so are we."

"Oikawa isn't all that good, and so ain't Shoyo. That shrimp isn't even that skilled when he doesn't have a good setter. The only reason he was good in high school was because of the team he was playing in," Kageyama says with a scoff. "He still lacks experience."

"Aren't you the same?" Suna asks the younger lad. "I thought the reason you were still here at university was because you lack experience."

Kageyama shoots him a glare. "No," he mumbles, crossing his arms. "I chose this path."

You mentally smile at Suna. Those are the things you wish you could say, but you can't. There's no need for a war between you and Kageyama.

"Ahh, I miss Shoyo-kun!" Atsumu says with a pout. "He was so fun to watch during high school! He's so fun to play against, I can't wait! I wish I was the one that could set for him!"

Osamu facepalms himself. "You seriously need to know when to stop talking, you idiot."

"Alright guys, that's enough. Shall we talk about positions?" Kaiya asks, looking at the coach.

You've had various conversations with him already, deciding who's going to stand where and what positions the players should play. Who's going to be in the starting lineup and who doesn't? It was the hardest decision ever, but somehow you guys made it work with a lot of puzzling and suggestions from both Rin and you. You have no idea how you guys did it, but this might be the best lineup yet.
