𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 彡 𝐭.𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐚 (𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗿.)

⤷ 26,, kuroo's childhood friend

"Remember, we are here to find actors, not flirt with them," you say as you glare at Calum and Thomas. They both roll their eyes at you.

"Not a problem," they say in unison. They give each other a glare, then both looking at a girl. Thomas quickly looks at Rowen, and Calum stares at you without him knowing. No one of you expects a thing.

You open the doors towards the theatre. You know that there are a lot of people looking for actors, so you want to be quick. You want to look for the best ones, the wrapping up of the story will come later. You just want to make sure that you have actors that fit the cast that you and your team came up with.

Your team consists of your friends from England, so Calum, Rowen and Thomas, and some friends and film students from Tokyo, that being Inuoka, Yaku, Tendou and Shirabu. The maximum of a team was ten people, excluding actors of course so you're happy with eight in your team.

You're the director with Inuoka, as you are the writer of the film. Rowen and Thomas are for lightning and sound, as well as the script and storyboards. Tendou and Shirabu are there for costumes, props, and locations and as runners. Yaku and Calum will do the filming and editing. You will add animations and special effects with Inuoka later. Everyone will help where they can and together you're sure that you can make a great film. You're very happy with your team and you can't wait to make something of it. It should be amazing.

When you enter the theatre, the students are all practicing with each other. The teacher smiles when she notices you. "Nakano Riley! There you are," she says as she walks towards you.

You made sure to ask her if you could come over to look for actors and talk about your film, and she was happy to help. She mentioned that she likes these kind of events, when majors work together to create something good.

"Students, please gather around!" Mrs. Aoi says as she claps her hands. "I want to introduce you to Nakano Riley and her crew, they are making a film for the film festival these coming three months. The team needs actors and Riley asked me if I wanted to ask if some of you were interested. Of course I have already informed you about this, but now she can tell her story and you can tell her if you're interested or not! So, Riley, the stage is yours."

Mrs. Aoi motions for you to join her on the stage, so you do. Your friends sit down in the crowd with big grins, and Rowen and Yaku put their thumbs up for encouragement.

"Hello everyone," you start as you look around the large group of theatre students. "I'm Nakano Riley, a first year film student at this university. Together with my group, consisting of national and international film students, we are creating a short film. I can't tell you much about the film yet since that's a secret, but I can tell you that we are making a fantasy mystery movie with a minecraft painting as prop. If you are interested in acting in this film, we need at least five people to play in the film but we can always use more as stand-in's and extra's. You can come to me in a bit if you want to work with us, but we will wait two days before it's close. So if you still need to think about it, you can. I'll leave my email here. Filming will be either during te day or night, and I've talked to Mrs. Aoi and she said that it's okay that you can skip a few classes if you talk to her about the schedule during the next few months. I think that's about it, are there questions?"

A guy holds up his hand. "Do we get paid?" he asks when you nod at him to ask his question.

You shake your head. "No, since this is a school project, we can't pay you to act in the film. Obviously your name will appear in the credits and on some days we will provide snacks and drinks, but we can't pay for all. We have sponsors, but that money is mostly used for costumes, locations, props and equipment that we need to rent. It is mostly for experience and I guess to make new friends," you say with a smile. "You have the chance to act in a film instead of on the stage and get that experience. It's fully voluntary."

The guy nods and starts whispering with his friends, some of them shaking their heads at the answer you gave them. They obviously won't want to play in your film, but that's fine. If there's no one that wants to act in your movie you'll go to your friends and beg them.

"If that's all, then we'll be here waiting. Don't be shy to ask us questions. My email is also open to ask questions in the following two days. Thanks," you finish your explanation. You bow to the students and your friends and most of them clap. Then you walk off the stage to your friends.

Mrs. Aoi says some words before most students go back to what they were doing before, but two people walk up to you.

"Hi," a girl says as she bows. "My name is Soma Atlas, and I'm interested in playing in your film," she says. In front of you is a girl with straight black hair. She's a little shorter than you and wears glasses.

"Hi," you say as you bow. "I recognize you! Are you friends with Kuroo?"

She chuckles. "Yeah, we are childhood friends, actually. You're one of his friends, right? I see you with his group all the time. And your best friend is his uh, ex-girlfriend, or am I wrong about that? Miya Rin?"

You nod. "Yeah, me and Rin are best friends. And I'm the friend that Kuroo and Kenma play video games with."

"Ah, now I know you! Yeah, that's cool! I'm very much interested in acting in your movie, it sounds challenging. Unlike some of my classmates, I don't care about money and rather get some experience as I want to star in movies and dramas later in life."

"I would love to have you join our cast!" you start with a smile. "Can you give me your phone number so I can add you to a groupchat, then?"

She nods and grabs her phone. You do the same and you exchange numbers. Then, you also get the other girl's number as she was interested in joining as well.

"I'll keep in contact," you say to them. Inuoka is now standing next to you with a smile. "We are happy that you want to join us! Good luck today, and see you!"

You walk away after waving to them to join your friends. "That went better than expected," Calum says, having spoken to two pretty girls. They were nothing compared to you, though.

"Very. I'm glad we came here," you say, smiling at the amount of people that want to join. "This film is going to be great, I can feel it."
