𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 彡 𝐭.𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐲𝐚𝐦𝐚 (𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗿.)

⤷ 15,, toga himiko who?

A little while later, Kaiya and Rin also get home from their day and walk into your room to see you and Haruko cuddling in your bed. Your heavy sobbing has stopped now, but occasionally some tears fall down your cheeks.

"What happened??" Rin asks concerned.

Haruko tells the two girls all about the encounter you had with him, telling them what Oikawa texted him and what you've told him between sobs moments before. Haruko thinks he understood most of it, and he thinks it's best that he tells it instead of you.

Rin slams her right fist into her left palm. "That fucking bastard, I'm going to slice him up."

"Toga Himiko who?" Kaiya says with an eye roll, shaking her head with a small smile. "He's your friend, how will you do that without breaking your friendship with him?"

"Okay, fair point," Rin points out, but she shrugs. "He's still an asshole, though, and I wouldn't mind telling him that. If I have to break the friendship, then I will. He hurt Riles, that's enough for me."

You let out a small sniff and sit up from the position in your bed, wiping your eyes with the sleeve of your hoodie. "Rin," you say softly, your eyes still puffy and red. "You once said a thing to me, right? How we can still be friends with Kuroo even though you and him broke up? You know, it's the same here. If you're still friends with Kageyama, I don't blame you. He's just been a dick to me, not to others. He has always been nice to Atsumu and other friends in the meantime."

Kaiya and Haruko look from you to Rin, and then they both nod. "Right," Kaiya starts. "You did tell us that."

She widens her eyes slightly. "Oh... yeah," she starts with a small smile, then shrugs. "But it's not like him and me have been the bestest friends or something. I barely had any contact with a lot of old friends, just a few texts here and there. But, it's good to know that you think like that too," Rin continues. She turns her head to look at you. "After that whole incident at your birthday I lost contact with a lot of Karasuno. Kageyama, or anyone else, didn't text the groupchat for days."

Kaiya frowns. "Most guys are shit at communicating, honestly. They're kinda shit in general, sorry Haruko."

Haruko chuckles. "Yeah, it's a good thing we have a great friendship and can't live without each other. And none taken, assuming you didn't mean me. Of course I'm different."

"And I'm glad that we respect each other and our friends, even though some of us don't like them," Rin adds to that.

Your friends nod and look at you. "Right," you say, looking at your cat. "We respect each other."

"Woah, look at us being mature," Haruko says with a small chuckle. He turns towards Kaiya and Rin with a serious look on his face. "But all that aside, we can't argue on the fact that Kageyama is an asshole for treating Riles like that."

"Yeah," Kaiya nods. "He is an asshole for that, and it's okay to cry about him if you need to. Not only about today, but about the past too. We know you had some sort of feelings for him, Riles... And we know you were sad that the strong friendship between the two of you stopped so abruptly. It's okay to cry about that loss, even after three years."

You sigh and look away from your friends, focusing on your cat pillow. "Yeah... but it feels stupid, because why am I crying about someone that doesn't even want to be friends with me?"

You straighten your back. "So, this is how we're going to do it. Today is the only day that I'm letting myself get carried away with my feelings about him, and today is the only day that I can feel miserable about the whole situation. From tomorrow on I'm going to get over him, and for real now, just like I didn't care when I was on my exchange."

Your friends nod. They're happy that you're letting your feelings out for once. Everyone knows that you're someone who likes to keep them for yourself, so they're already happy that you let them out this time.

But just this once, though.

Tomorrow you're going back to your cold and bitchy self when it comes to Kageyama.

Out of your fucking mind with him.

"Preach that, girl," Haruko says as he wraps his arms around you again, pulling you in for another well needed hug.

"And if you ever need to cry again, don't be afraid to do so. Actually, it's better to let out your feelings instead of bottling them up. And trust me, I know," Rin says, winking at you.

You smile a little and feel a good feeling take over your body, a grateful feeling for all your friends being here with you, and that you have the opportunity to live with them. They really are the best friends you could ask for, even though you had your ups and downs.

But in the end, they're the ones that are always there for you.
