After our fight, I had no choice, as Stiles did not let me help them. In fact, he told me that he would do anything to keep me from hurting, even if it meant pushing me away from himself. So I decided to do something to help them. I decided to find Deaton on my own. And I did, too.

As I walked into the bank where we found Erica's body, I felt something powerful. Something was repelling. I listened to my instincts as I walked to the vault where we freed Boyd and Cora. I found Scott trying to break the mountain ash barrier as I stepped inside. I felt my eyes growing purple. I knew I had to help him. I felt it. So I held my one hand on my necklace and the other on Scott, imagining my power pouring onto him. Just when he broke it, the barrier pushed us away, causing both of us to lie on the ground unwillingly. As Scott tried to get up, I realized I could not move.

Stilinski came in just in time, shot the chains, and freed Deaton. As Stilinski helped Deaton to lay on his back, Scott helped me to get up. "Did Stiles send you?" he asked. "No. I just listened to my necklace." I told him, but I was feeling exhausted. "You did something."

"I know."

"You helped me break the barrier. You gave me power."

"So much power that your eyes glowed red." We heard Deaton, and I realized that Stilinski was gone. "How is that possible?" Scott asked. "It's rare- something that doesn't happen within a hundred years. But, every once in a while, a Beta can become an Alpha without having to steal or take that power. They call it a True Alpha. It's one that rises purely on the strength of character, by virtue, by sheer force of will. And with Rachel's help of power, you become more powerful."

"...You knew this would happen." Scott told Deaton as I stepped away from them. "I believed. From the moment I knew you were bitten, I believed." I heard Deaton, I turned to them. "You're not the only one." I said. "Deucalion isn't after Derek-- he's after you, Scott." Deaton only nodded, and then he turned to me. "And if he learns that you are some kind of sorceress, he will be after you, too."

"Um, excuse me- what? I am what?"

"That necklace is not the magical one. It is you. You lit the spark of that necklace. It is like your wand. Your source of power."

"I don't understand. Why would Deucalion want me anyway?" I asked him. "Because there were no more sorceresses on the earth. At least not that we knew of. You are the first in decades. Believe it or not, your power is not as easy to control as it seems. If you are not careful, the power inside that necklace will take all of your human feelings until you turn into a  body without a soul."

"I told you, I'm sorry, but you left me no choice." I told Stiles as I was in his car. "You could've gotten yourself killed." he told me emotionless. "But I didn't. And I learned what I am. Isn't it great?"

"Yeah, so great that there is a chance you can turn into a soulless body. Considering your actions, maybe you turned into one already." I turned to Stiles in complete shock. "What?  Stiles, all I ever want to do is get rid of this Darach thing so I can finally live my relationship with you, and here you are telling me that I have no emotion. Are you for real?" I said, completely pissed. When Stiles turned his face to me, I saw that he was pissed off too. "Am I real? Yeah, the fuck I am because I am scared to lose you! Y'know that to have that relationship, both parties should be alive and well, right? I cannot live if you die in my arms one day trying to fight those creatures!"

"I don't want to lose you because I didn't try enough! Do you know what I saw in that nightmare? I lost you. I lost all of you. And it was my fault. I am not going to live that nightmare in real. I'm sorry, Stiles, but I don't care what happens to me. I cannot be the reason for your death." I told him with tears in my eyes. He sighed and looked me in the eye. He caressed my face in his palms, not breaking eye contact. "I promise you, Rachel, you are not going to lose me. Not me, not Scott, not Lydia, and not Allison. No one loses anyone." I nodded as I was crying silently. He pulled me into his arms, and we cuddled for a few minutes.
