Power of Dominion (Pokemon Cynthia x READER)

CH 23 : Secret of Dominion

Professor Rowan gazed at the T.V the horrific sight of homes ,hospitals and schools being destroyed made him shiver. He knew who was behind this but he was still puzzled on why. 

"It's obvious who's behind this but how can he cause this much damage in such a short time what Pokémon does he have at his disposal ?" Rowan reached into his locker pulling out a pile of documents covered in dust from years of neglect and abandonment. The text was titled "Dominion by Professor L/n" Rowan sighed and opened the first page

Images flashed on the T.V as Rowan began to read the opening words.

I would've given anything to know the secrets of dominion it was more beloved to me than anything even my own well being however after years of research I only amassed very few details on the mysterious  legend.

First discovered in the Kanto region the power of dominion was said to be granted to a being only every decade or so. After years of searching I finally found a living specimen containing this power however it was a pokemon , in fact a legendary pokemon. I continued my research until I stumbled on a human subject who claimed to be a user of Dominion he requested I cease my research and be sworn to secrecy in exchange he would allow me to study the power from himself. I agreed completely intending to betray him once I had gotten enough evidence.

From the data I collected I discovered that the power of Dominion was given involuntarily you could not attain it by your own means. The power gives the being control over living things through speech and commands. The limits appear to be strict but the subject expressed motive to become stronger meaning that the limit of the power is seemingly endless. 

The subject has only ever used it in emergencies to control wild pokemon but I am curious about its effect on human no doubt this power is powerful but it is clear that it is also dangerous.

The document came to an end and the last words were written in a unique code. Rowan rubbed his forehead in frustration 

The fact than none of us believed you until now....even in death you scare me

 Rowan stared at the T.V as the acts of violence began to slow down Cynthia hadn't reported back and the sinking feeling in Rowans chest began to grow. ""What point is there if we know what we're up against HOW DO WE FIGHT IT??" suddenly the sound of applause echoed around the lab.

"well done Rowan you had me scared for a second." Rowan turned around and froze in shock his lab assistant lay frozen in place his eyes not even blinking as the cold figure of Neer appeared. He smiled crudely wiping a stream of blood from his chin.

 "If only you had more time professor perhaps then you could have changed the outcome" Rowan scowled "It was my decision, brushing professor l/n off whenever she suggested we research Dominion never had I thought I would be destroyed by that decision" Neer smiled and cleared his throat the researcher behind him fell to the ground gasping for air, he reached for his cellphone

 "CEASE!!" Neers words came out like thorns Rowans body froze in place his eyes stuck open. Neer lifted his foot before bringing down onto the assistants hand crushing it with his steel heel before breaking the cellphone. The assistants muffled screams echoed around the room. Rowan suddenly regained control of his body as Neer turned around. "Now where we? Oh yes we're making a deal" Neer pointed to a chair and Rowan complied and the two sat opposite one another.

Neer grinned "I'm sure you've already discovered my power but it's about time you realized my plan, I want to create a kingdom a vast land under my control where I rule over all living creature and yes even though I may be outnumbered as of now with the power of dominion I will forcefully control every legendary Pokémon and recruit every powerful trainer until I amass a powerful army. The only thing standing in my way are the righteous trainers that could not be swayed by my offer people like Cynthia Shirona and other enemies of my empire. Rowan scowled "How did you grow so powerful without anyone noticing?" Neer smiled "I made a few deals myself with the likes of Giovanni and even the Hoen regions elite Steven Stone"
