CH 29: Turned Tables

As darkness fell over the waring region of Sinnoh a much needed sense of peace befell its people. Neers forces took a break as their leader secluded himself on his throne and as for the rebellion their spirits were shaken still but also unified. As the two spirits of mother and son reunited the rebellion gathered together.

Y/n walked side by side with his mother retelling the stories of their adventures. Professor Nora l/n had always enjoyed her research, taking long trips from home leaving Y/n behind not only that the family always moved from region to region but y/n never held any resentment towards his mother and always admired her intelligence.

The pair laughed in unison as y/n explained his run ins with Gyarados and Kyogre. "Lucky for us I taught you how to swim before you could do math" chuckled Nora. Y/n told his mother about his visions how he dreamt of her when he was so close to death she laughed it off and smiled lightening the weight on Y/ns heart.

Nora and Y/ns happiness died down as they came to a clearing , Mount Coronet Stood in the Horizon blocking the moon. "You understand how dangerous this is Y/n ?" Y/n nodded solemnly "I don't want to lose my child" whispered Nora her voice shaking. Y/n placed his hand on his mother shoulder "I'm bringing everyone home Mom especially you" Nora smiled "Come now let's go meet Cynthia"

Later 

The rebellion moved under the safety of night and gathered in Celestic Town Y/n, Silver,Steven,both the professors and the members of the elite four all gathered in Cinthia's grandmothers home. Nora and Cynthia stood up beginning their speech.

"Colress,Giovanni and Neer are the remaining commanders of Oasis. The main danger we have is Genesect an experimental pokemon that was created by Colress and stolen by Neer although they are prototypes each has the power of a pseudo legendary pokemon maybe even that of a legendary and there are 5 they are also Neers last line of defence. My idea is : 

Stage one : Steven Stone will lead us into the best position for an ambush bypassing the grunts and lower level threats, once we're in the rest of our trainers will engage them on the outside ensuring that we don't get surrounded and still take them by surprise.

Stage two : The deadly squad of Genesect will attack that's when the elite four and Steven led by Cynthia will engage them and create an opening in Neers inner defence.

Stage three : Y/n and Silver rush and face Neer and Giovanni holding them off until the rest of our forces are victorious and reinforce them.

Cynthia sat down letting Nora continue "It will most definitely be a dangerous and deadly battle but the more we stall the more control and power Neer will gain. From my research all I can confirm is that his power is finite he cannot continuously control every pokemon around him and his ability to do so differs depending on the pokemons strength and how long he has been in contact with them for. So attack fast and hard don't take risks and get this job done, the fate of the region and possibly the world is in our hands." 

The room went silent "Any questions ?" asked Cynthia without an answer she nodded and dismissed everyone except for the 4 main heroes. "One problem " said Steven turning his head to see id the gym leaders had left "I can't lead us into a possible ambush location" "Why!?" shouted Y/n 

"I can't remember anything at all about Spear pillar all my memories with Neer are fuzzy and useless " Nora glanced at Cynthia who rubbed the bridge of her nose in frustration. 

"I could make a distraction or maybe create an Illusion with Zeezee my Zoroark" recommended Y/n. Cynthia shook her head "We can't risk you or your pokemon besides we can't underestimate their technology Colress could have access to a silph scope or any device that could see through such an illusion" The room filled with stress and fear as they lost their key weapon , the element of surprise.
