Togekiss expertly flew through the northern Sinnoh region gliding through treetops and soaring above the Snowpoint mountains. Togekiss landed in front of Lake Acuity's cavern in record time barely breaking a sweat. As soon as Cynthia entered the cave she felt a powerful presence. She remembered her grandmothers' stories of how Uxie would punish unwanted trespassers by erasing their memories.
"I promise not to hurt you Uxie, I come only for the red chain"
"You think that I'd trussst a human like youuu" hissed Uxie from behind the mist. Cynthia shut her eyes protecting them from Uxies hypnotic gaze.
"I've noticed your presence ever since I started my journey always watching from the shadows but never coming close to me"
"You've seen me fight and train for years am I not worthy as the champion to receive the tools to protect our home?!"
"Prove yourself first then maybe we have an agreement. Your most precious memory and the red chain those are the stakes of this deal"

A silent rhythm that rises and causes many to fall

A blast of psychic energy fired towards Cynthia Togekiss jumped in the way parrying the attack with great difficulty, Cynthia was pushed to the side "Not fair" she yelled but before she could react Togekiss was knocked back into a tree. Cynthia gritted her teeth as she felt another attack aiming at her with deadly intent.
"EMOTIONS" she blurted out. Suddenly the attack stopped.

Uxie charged up another powerful psychic Cynthia sat down on the melting snow."Uxie won't attack if I solve the riddle and there's no point since I can't outrun it forever" She thought hard for exactly 4 seconds before the attack launched at her just inches before it reached her she blurted her answer.
"WILLPOWER"
Uxie stopped its attack in a flash of red and yellow it carved out its ruby gems and fused them to make a third of the red chain.
"Very well you have proved yourself, now come collect your prize"
"You hurt my pokemon delayed saving the region for a simple IQ test are you even worthy of calling yourself a guardian? She scolded.
"As this regions champion I am its guardian as well and I deem you unworthy of being a guardian"
Uxie frowned deeply and began to release its psychic energy "What did you say?!"
