CH 27 : Galactic goons

Mount Coronet grew eerie and ghostly as the members of Oasis regrouped at Spear Pillar. Four main members stood in front of Neer behind them was a small army. A dark and villainous aura surrounded them. Giovanni the leader of team Rocket raised his hand. 

"It has appeared the radio waves causing the wild pokemon to rampage has been sabotaged our commander Petrel has failed us once again" he clenched his fist in anger, Neer nodded slowly before motioning to Colress and Steven "We have successfully rejuvenated the great Titan Regigigas and cleared out Snowpoint city of any threatening trainers" Neer grinned 

"Broadcast a message to the region" commanded Neer. Colress immediately obeyed signaling to a group of scientists to broadcast a message. 

"Attention Sinnoh Region this is your new ruler speaking , many of you are probably cowering away scared of what is to come but I am here to tell you to not fear for I care deeply about you my soon to be loyal subjects. I give you three choices

One : You may rebel against me and meet you untimely demise I do warn you though many people have tried and failed against us Including you beloved champion Cynthia.

Two: You may pledge your allegiance to me by meeting our forces at the foot of Mount Coronet. Any people of value or worth will be added to our ranks and be protected from us you will also become honorary citizens of our new empire.

Three : You may remain neutral and cower or run away but with all docks and runways destroyed very few of you will be able to escape and I cannot guarantee your safety.

Neer clasped his hands and smiled at the the camera "That is all my friends I look forward to our meeting "

The broadcast ended and Neers smiled faded he turned to a young recruit named Cyrus "Hunt them down every last person who tries to leave the region take their pokemon,Money,valuables and anything of worth"

"What about their lives ?" Neer shrugged and sat on an a lavish chair and waved his hand"Do whatever comes to mind" Cyrus pointed to the  group of trainers and selected a few.

Neer called over Steven Stone the Hoenn regions champion. "I heard your plan was a complete success and you went even further beyond your objective securing the docks,Regigigas and defeating the child gym leader Candace " Steven nodded slowly not showing a single emotion. Neer grinned "You are a cold one Steven cold as Steel" Neer waved away the rest of the grunts and guards surrounding him including Colress and Giovanni.

"Did you see that youngster Cyrus ?" Steven nodded. "He thinks I don't see it but I can feel the emptiness inside his heart he has no ambition for our cause and I'm afraid one day he may decide to betray me in favor of his own goals" Steven watched as Cyrus exited Spear Pillar his dark eyes calm and empty. Neer sighed "Make it look like an accident and do hurry up I want you back before the civilians arrive to pledge their allegiance" Steven looked back at Neer you wiped the dust from his pokeballs. Steven nodded "I'll attack once he's finished with the refugees"

Neer smiled "One more thing Steven , don't you think it's about time we retrieved Kyogre"

Meanwhile

A shadow covered Y/ns body as he lay motionless on the Durnab beach. His pokemon lay unconscious on the beach they had somehow managed to regroup with their trainer thanks to the help of the trainer standing over their master. "You imbecile get up" he said pinching Y/ns ears. Y/n opened his eyes and slowly blinked "Silver...are we dead ?" he asked Silver slapped his forehead "I hate this region" he said before picking up y/n "We have to find the professor and regroup" Y/n whined before collapsing onto the sand "Five more minutes"he groaned before falling asleep. Silver cursed before walking over to y/ns pokemon and gathering them up.
