Y/n rinsed his face and dusted off his clothes "Man I'm hungry". His vison got blurry and a small stream of blood leaked from his nose .

It took him a moment to collect himself before he got ready. Gyarados's pokeball was shaking wildly

Y/n felt Gyarados's booming voice although it felt strange there was no sound yet Y/n knew what his Pokémon was saying.

Suddenly Y/n heard a knock at the door, it was Lucian. "I hope you are ready your match will begin soon" he said tapping his watch. Y/n nodded and gathered his things. "You'll have your chance Gyarados" he whispered into his pokeball before following Lucian. The pair walked out through the corridor before coming face to face with a group of trainers blocking the exit
"There you are Lucian" cooed a woman dressed in a bright yellow shirt. The group turned to face Lucian and Y/n each of them clearly sizing Y/n up.

"So this is the challenger" chuckled a tall blonde man. "You may not look it but I can tell you're a sharp one aren't you?" Y/n shrugged and stepped behind Lucian letting the trainer take over.
"Sorry about Y/n he's in a hurry for his next match but I'm sure he's glad to meet the frontier brains" The tall man grinned "I heard there was a thrilling event going on so I stopped by to see the challenger" The man turned to his fellow trainers "We'll be seeing you Lucian" the group waved their goodbyes and began to walk away but moments before disappearing from view a young girl accompanied by a man appearing to be her butler glanced at Y/n shooting him a serious stare.

"Where were they during the falling?" asked Y/n Lucian raised his eyebrow "Strange question but they were participating in a tournament in Unova but unfortunately Darach and his mistress Caitlin were confronted by Neer and left injured for a few days so they stayed to protect them"
What would've happened we had them fighting
Y/n shrugged off the thought as a bell rang from the Arena "All eyes on you, no pressure" said Lucian patting Y/n on the back.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, we know you guys love battles so we're bringing you yet another epic showdown "
"Yo, Y/n ! I've been waiting on the edge of my seat for you to come! I've been training myself for this moment! I won't just bring the heat— I'm going supernova! Hope you're warmed up, cause here comes the Big Bang!" Flint bumped Y/ns fist and both trainers then took their positions preparing to start.
