Spear pillars atmosphere had turned gloomy and silent both Steven and Y/n were missing under the rubble and Cynthia was being tortured by spiritomb. Every member of the rebellion was either injured or missing leaving all but one fighter still standing.
A few minutes earlier (During Cynthia vs Neer)
"Magneton use thunder" a bright light erupted from the pokemon crashing into Giovanni's Kangaskhan. It buckled but got up again "Brick break" Kangaskhan right hooked magneton in the face sending it flying into Silver. "Don't you understand boy, you cannot go against ultimate power lower your ego and join me we can make you stronger give you better pokemon and once we are rid of Neer we can rule the world together"
Silver groaned as he pushed Magneton off . He stumbled to his feet before shouting "Why father, why can't you ever be satisfied with how far you've come ?. You weren't satisfied with Kanto you weren't satisfied in Johto YOU WEREN'T EVEN SATISFIED WITH ME !
"Always scheming always trying to get more powerful what's the use If your life is drowned by darkness, I had those same thoughts same goals but I changed I met people in Johto and I've met Y/N a man not fueled by anger and lust for power, people ridiculed him and treated him like he's worthless he had every right to become like you and Neer but he didn't. When I saw him with his pokemon I realized that power is nothing without heart or you become a monster like you and Neer WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT??"
"Are you done?" scoffed Giovanni as he pointed to an open window . "Give me your pokemon and escape while you can reject this offer and I'll forget you're my child and show no mercy"
Silver stood up "No father it's me who'll show you no mercy"
"Gengar focus blast!" A pool of blackness emmegred Gengar fired a ball of concentrated energy knocking Kangaskhan to the ground. Giovanni didn't flinch and sent out Nidoqueen.
"Night slash"
"Shadow punch"
The two attacks collided sending shockwaves through the room.
"Again!" screamed the trainers. Gengar and Nidoqueen roared at each other punching and slashing into each other.
"Nidoqueen use sucker punch!" Nidoqueen slammed into Gengars chin sending it back
"Gengar can you continue?" asked Silver. Giovanni scoffed "asking your pokemon for permission how feeble" Gengar nodded and they continued.
"Finish this Nidoqueen" Nidoqueen leapt forward preparing a slash.
"Y'know what to do, Destiny bond!" A string of shadow wrapped around Nidoqueen neck as it slashed into Gengar causing both the pokemon to feel the pain.Gengar and Nidoqueen collapsed to the ground
DESTINY BOND - When this move is used, if the user faints, the foe that landed the knockout hit also faints.
"A cheap tactic" snarled Giovanni as he sent out Dugtrio. Silver sent out Crobat

"Rock slide" boulders fired towards Crobat who expertly dodged the attack "Giga drain!" Crobat latched onto Dugtrio sapping its energy.
"Use rock blast" Dugtrio landed a pint blank rock blast knocking Crobat into the air. "Finish this with rock slide!"
"Use return!" Crobat used Return diving towards Dugtrio at blinding speeds before crashing down into Dugtrio. Crobat flapped victoriously as Giovanni sent out Nidoking.
"Perhaps alternative methods can take you somewhere but it comes nowhere near ultimate power"
