One more opponent ,one more obstacle and one more gym leader stood in Y/ns way before he could stand in front of the pokemon league.
"We've come this far, let's finish in style"
"Hera use rock slide!" Heracross tore chunks of rock from the floor launching them at Jolteon. "Dodge and use thunderbolt" yelled Volkner. Jolteon dodged the boulders zipping past them and closing the distance.
"Brace for impact!" shouted Y/n. Hera took the attack head on pushing past the pain. "Close combat" Hera leapt forward grabbing onto Jolteons leg before tossing it in the air. Heracross then pummeled into Jolteon sending it crashing into the walls. Volkner scowled
He allowed an opening to be created so I'd let Jolteon close the distance that way he could land a strong enough attack, he's not only strong but crafty as well.
Y/n returned Heracross and sent out Gliscor "I saved Gliscor's strength for this final pokemon" Volkner released his ace Electivire. "Show me Y/n, show me what it means to be as strong as you"
"Electivire ice punch" Electivire roared and leapt towards Gliscor.
He has Ice punch on Electivire ?!
"Dodge and use earthquake" the two attacks collided Electivire slammed its fist into Gliscor landing the 4 x effective attack. Gliscor whined in pain struggled to its feet.
"Use ice punch once more" Electivire shaked of the damage from earthquake and began stomping towards Gliscor
It's not certain earthquake will knock it out so I have to play it safe
"Gliscor use toxic" Electivire jabbed its fist into Gliscor but with its last moments of consciousness Gliscor swiped its tail stabbing its stinger deep into Electivire's skin. Gliscor fell to the ground and Y/n returned him "Nice work" Electivire shuddered with the effects of the poison
We just need to buy time for the poison to take effect .Ark and Hera are tired and Jolteon and Gyarados aren't optimal counters
"Shut up and leave this to me" Zeezee burst out of her pokeball.
Y/n nodded and Zeezee bared her fangs at Electivire "Electivire use thunder punch" Electivire roared in anger swinging its mighty fists at Zeezee. Y/n ran the calculations as fast as he could
Thunder punch and dark pulse are our best moves ,I'm positive we can survive more than one hit and the same goes for him.
"It's simple, first one to land two hits is the winner" whispered Volkner. Zeezee ducked her head barely dodging the sparking fist. "Keep your distance" shouted Y/n. Zeezee leapt back "Now fire a dark pulse " Zeezee let out a screech firing a beam of dark aura knocking Electivire back.
"Push through and use Thunder punch" Electivire roared and stormed towards Zoroark with every step it cracked the floor shaking the entire room.
"Don't let it get close" Zeezee dove between Electivires legs dodging the attack.
"Now use fire punch" Y/ns eyes widened as Electivire charged towards Zeezee slamming its fist into the Zoroark. Y/n cursed as Zeezees body fly into the air before crashing in front of him. Volkner grinned
With his Gliscor gone and his main attackers now weak we can win this battle. It's more risky but I'll have to go for a stronger attack
Zeezee groaned in pain and staggered to her feet "S-such a puny attack could never knock me down" Her breath was hampered but she stood strong. "Can you continue ?" asked Y/n.
I've seen you grow up by my side Y/n and it's with my pride as a pokemon that I WILL WIN
Zeezee howled at the sky baring her fangs and flexing her claws. Y/n grinned "with the residual poison damage we can finish this in one strike"
