Cynthia watched in fear and amazement as the lake guardians rose and floated by Y/ns side. "Go on boy kill me already" Y/n stared at Neer with a cold gaze."Killing you won't erase the damage you caused with the power I wield now anything is possible"
"Big words for a little man what could you possibly do that will erase what I've done"
"I'll summon Dialga and erase your very existence" said Y/n blankly. The lake guardians raised their hands and a loud boom erupted from the sky as a crack appeared in the air. Neer stared in horror as the crack widend and a blue light shined through.
"I'll erase everything about you from your very conception Neer and repair all the damage you've done to my mother and I"
"NO!" screamed Cynthia. Y/n turned his head to see a sobbing Cynthia. "You can't erase Neers existence because...he's your father"
Y/ns scowled in anger turning towards Neer he activated his power once more "EXPLAIN"
Neer froze before opening his mouth "Long ago when I was still a novice in controlling my power I met a woman named Nora she was in my eyes the only one I could trust. I saved her from a wild pokemon and we bonded over our love for science and pokemon. We worked together to understand my power but slowly as my ambition grew and matured she began to reject my calling not only that she also began to plot my defeat what better weapon to use against me then the same"
Y/n stared in shock as the reality of the situation became clear. Neer nodded "That's right boy you weren't born you were built, built to counter me to stop my reign that's why I hunted you and your mother down, you were a loose end" Y/n gritted his teeth in anger.
"The why, why'd you let me live 2 years ago?!" Neer smirked as he remembered the day he let y/n escape "Truth be told I don't know myself , perhaps it was the last shred of sympathy I had for my own child"
Neer cackled loudly. Y/n fell to his knees and puked his mental state had shattered. Cynthia ran towards him wrapping her arms around his neck. The sky cracked even more and a loud screech erupted from the opening. "You can't Y/n, both you and Nora will die"
Y/n stared at the sky the pulsing eye of Dialga stared back "Please Y/n don't make me live without you" the sentence burned into Y/ns brain. A moment of bliss fell on him as he realized what he had to do.
He stood up and faced the lake guardians "I want you to wipe everyone's memory of Neer and of what happened except for those I choose"
The lake guardians looked at each other "Who do you deem worthy ?" asked Uxie. "Those who joined Neer willingly and those who helped fight against Oasis"
Uxie nodded "I also will use Dialga to reverse the damage to all the land" The guardians stared at Y/n "That feat may very well kill you Y/n" said Azelf. Y/n smiled "It will not after all I can't leave Cynthia alone"

"Dialga with your power restore this land to its former glory!!!!"
A brilliant display of blue lightning erupted as Dialga emerged from its dimension. Y/n held Cynthia's hand as Dialga's power flowed through the land in waves. "This is the beginning of a fresh start Y/n" said Cynthia as she leaned into his chest "You're my hero Y/n"
The sky erupted in a brilliant display as Uxies power flowed through the rivers of Sinnoh sending everyone into a deep slumber.
"You've done it Y/n L/n you've saved Sinnoh"
Many days later
Night had fallen on the now Peaceful Sinnoh region and everyone was at rest except for one soul that had just woken up. A stream of blood trickled down Y/ns nose as he straightened himself on his mattress.
"Is it over..." he whispered as he stared out the window. The faint shape of Mount.Coronet was visible in the distance. "We actually won" he said with a smile. A blissful breeze blew through the window as Y/n caught a glimpse of his bedside table. A mountain of flowers and cards piled over each other the sight made him tear up. Those 2 years he spent hiding from Neer seemed so distant now.
"Y/n are you awake ?" came a voice, Y/n felt the warm embrace of the champion as he turned to face her. "It's all over" she hushed. "We won Y/n" she said gleefully as she laid him back into bed. They embraced for a few moment before he had the courage to speak "Will you stay here for a while" he asked
"For as long as you need" she replied.
The next morning in Celestic Town
Y/n awoke to a tapping on his shoulder he opened his eyes to see a blushing Cynthia sitting against her headboard.
"We can come back later if need be" said a voice .Cynthia stuttered on her words as Y/n lifted his head.
"oh crap" Y/n jolted up in shock as he stared at the figures of Steven, Lance and Alder. Steven was blushing wildly. Lance lowered his head "I come to apologize for my ignorance and irresponsibility as a champion, my mistakes allowed Team Rocket to cause trouble and stir the peace in your region for that I am most sorry and for putting your lives at risk" Cynthia blushed and hid behind the blanket.
"Yeah man it's chill" replied Y/n. Steven grinned "Thanks for saving me back there I owe you a lot especially since it's my fault for falling under Neers control" Y/n grinned and shook Stevens hand. Alder cackled wildly "You newcomers are so full of life, I came to aid in the arrests of Colress and Neer as well as the deportation of all Unova trainers that were working for Neer It's not enough to repay you but allow us to handle most of the legal stuff we won't take too much credit I assure you"
Y/n smiled and the champions paid their respects to Cynthia as well who was buried under the blankets. "Are they gone?" she mumbled. Y/n smiled and pulled open the blanket. You're so cute when you're embarrassed" Cynthia growled and nipped Y/n finger "I hate you, I can't believe my grandmother let them in"
After a few moments of relaxation Y/n began to feel his energy returning he was still dizzy but he could walk and eat properly. "You were out for two days lucky for you I have an extra room" said Cynthia
"Not that you actually used it , you did spend most of the time huddled up next to him crying" said CYnthia's Grandmother. Y/n laughed and playfully pulled on Cinthia's cheek.
"By the way where is everyone ?"
"Your mom is at the Lab she's working with Rowan and Steven to return Regigigas to Snowpoint temple and Silver disappeared after waking up but he told me he'd be waiting for you at the Sunnyshore Gym for a final battle" Y/n smiled "and my pokemon?"
"In the garden except for your Infernape he's on the roof"
Y/n sighed once more "From tomorrow I'll be back on the grind and I'll be training to defeat you Champion"
