Chapter 10: A Happy Day in Hell

Another day had gone and from what Dream could see, progress had been slow, from what she could tell. Since the arrival of Red, they seemed to have picked up the pace on trying to spread the word of the Hotel to the other people in the city.

Dream had done her best to help out around the hotel, including finding ways to spread the word, such as campaigning through the internet or pamphlets. So far however most of their plans had fallen through.

They all agreed the best way to start had been to record a commercial.

And much to everyone's surprise----

---Alastor had been ahead of the game with his Scion, Red.

A video had started to play as Red had been in the frame, while Alastor had been holding a video camera. Everytime he peeked or his hand came into the frame however, there looked to be static.

"Hello, fellow Sinner---" Red said in the video, though it looked like he wasn't even trying as he greeted the two Demons whom were literally killing each other though stopped when they approached, "---Do you like blood, violence and exploring all of your sexual---" He looked at what had been a script, "---Desires and kink--The fuck, what kind of lines are you writing?"

"Of course you do!" Alastor said, ignoring Red entirely, "That's why you're in Hell! But what would you say if I told you there was a place to stay that had none of that?"

The video soon showed a shot of the Hazbin Hotel as Charlie stood in front of it talking to Yukito and Jaxon, though Dream had seemed to be in charge of the lighting. Thankfully she appeared to look like a demon as the video went through.

"Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!" Alastor announced, "A misguided path to redemption!" The camera pointed to Charlie as she realized she was being recorded while Yukito immediately hid her face while Jaxon had his back turned to the camera, "Founded five days ago by Lucifer's delusional daughter! Charlotte Morningstar!"

SNAP---Went something in the video as the camera turned over as they noticed Dream hanging off the branch.

"No worries I'm totally fi---!" Dream in the video started to say before she screamed, fell in the bushes. "OH NO! NO!" She shouted again as the boom mic she was holding fell on top of her as she shrieked.

What followed soon after had been the large branch she was hanging onto as they could hear her gag.

"Oh dang!" Charlie exclaimed as she, Jaxon and Yukito stopped what they were doing before they ran over to her.

The camera dropped as it had been on the floor.

"Dream! You okay?!" Charlie could be heard saying.

"Get the first aid!" Yukito exclaimed.

"HOLY FUCK, IS THAT HER BO--" Jaxon started to yell before there was static.

From there it showed a series of images and videos of Charlie in particular. One had been from her Katie Killjoy interview, and two more had been pictures; One had been of her crying as she faces away from her father who was in the opposite direction under a spotlight, and the other had been presenting her plan via poster to a confused crowd.

"Come place your fate in her inexperienced hands, as she tries to work through her daddy issues by fixing you!" Alastor narrated before it proceeded to the next scene.
