Chapter 12: A Plan of Action

    The morning came and needless to say---

    ---It had been chaotic.

    It had hit Charlie and Dream especially  like a ton of bricks about the news. The extermination---The Cleanse as they would put it, was coming in less than half of a year. Their lives, her life---

--Was numbered.

Dream had been in a fetal position as she had been rocking back and forth.

"Yabai, yabai, yabai, yabai, yabai, yabai, yabai, yabai, yabai---" Dream had been repeating.

Jaxon, Vaggie, Yukito Angel who had been on his phone, Decimo and Tina could only watch as she had been having a meltdown. Charlie included as she had been pacing.

"Okay. So the extermination is coming in six months instead of a year." Charlie said, "No big deal. Just a little setback. Nothing we can't handle. Just angels cutting our timetable in half. But who needs a whole year to save souls? Am I right?! Or am I wrong?!"

"... This---Is getting out of hand." Tina said.

"Yeah..." Yukito said, "... I don't even know what to say."

"Me neither..." Vaggie said.

"Well--" Decimo said as he got up and got his silencer. "--it's been fun."

"No Decimo, you're not gonna go prep and shoot the angels again." Xavion told his brother. "Sides, we all know that they can't be killed."

Decimo, Jaxon and Tina flinched at this as they each were reminded what Dream did from when she was first found, before they quickly shook the thought off.

"Mierda.." Decimo said with a pout.

"Hey Dream---" Jaxon said as he approached her, "---First of all, I'm really sorry about this, I honestly had no idea that asshole Adam would do something like this---"

"THAT DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING!!" Dream exclaimed making them jump, "It's bad enough I had to worry about Demons, and creeps wanting to skin me alive or some crap like that---But now this is on my plate?! This means if I don't find a way back home before the end of the six months---I may never see my family or my friends again! I might as well just wave goodbye to my life forever!! WHERE DO I EVEN GO IF I DIE IN THE AFTERLIFE?!"

She soon went back into a fetal position as she started to let out shortened breaths. Angel's gaze softened before he scooted over.

"Alright, come here Dreamer---" He said as he pulled her in a hug before giving her a paper bag; he started to pat her back as she breathed into the bag, before he put a blanket over her "---Deep breaths, nice and easy honey. There you go. You good? You need anything?"

Dream cried, "Can I hug Fat Nuggets?"

Angel didn't even respond, as it seemed like out of nowhere he held up his pet pig Fat Nuggets. Immediately Dream took him as she hugged him gently while Fat Nuggets rubbed his snot on her cheek.

"Better?" Angel asked.

"... A little." Dream replied as she sniffled smiling a little when Fat Nuggets gave her a small kiss on the cheek.

Jaxon sighed, "Believe me none of us saw this coming and neither of us wanted this---But don't worry, we're gonna do everything in our power to find a way to get you home. Even if one of us has to make a deal with an Overlord to make it happen."

"Yeah---" Tina said, "---Yeah Jaxon is right. Where there's a will there's a way! Isn't that right Decimo?" 

"Yeah!" Decimo said as he gave her a pat. "One way or another, We WILL get you back to the real world and you'll have your life back! I'll kill anyone that gets in the way!"
