Chapter 21: The Rune of Sound

-A Few Moments Earlier-

With Red having shifted into a rat, he had ventured in the vents. He had peaked through every opening, making sure to avoid the place with the most cameras. When he finally reached a blind spot he got it open with ease before he jumped down---

---He had reverted back to himself as he did.

He looked around before he had gotten out a notebook.

"... Now then---" Red said to himself as he looked through the pages, "---If I was a rune of sound, where would I be?"

He looked to the post-its he had in his notebook, looking to the symbols and old language as he leaned against the wall.

"... Figures that it would have to be in a place where sound itself could be heard. If that's the case, the best place would have to be---"

Red soon hid himself at the sound of a door slamming open; snapping his fingers as his suit changed to his casual wear of a hoodie and a pair of jeans. He used the hood to cover his face and hair. He could see familiar red smoke emerging as he could hear Valentino's voice.

"You call that a fucking good porno film!? That was a fucking disaster!" He shouted to what Red could assume was the director.

The director replied timidly, "I-I'm sorry I wanted to use this as a ref." he showed him a book, which was immediately smacked out of his hands by the Overlord.

"NO WONDER THIS IS A SHITSHOW! YOU GOT THAT FROM THAT CURSED HENTAI OF ALL THINGS! YOU KNOW THAT DIRECTOR IN THE NEXT STUDIO OVER!? HE MADE A BETTER PORNO SERIES THAN YOU! AND HE'S AN INDIE CREATOR!" Valentino raged, before he stomped away with Kitty following behind, "THE NEXT PERSON THAT REF'S THAT HENTAI SHIT AGAIN, BETTER BE PREPARED TO HAVE THEIR HEAD SHOVED UP THEIR OWN ASS!"

Red eyed the room Valentino came out of, as he recognized it to be the place where he usually filmed his porno films. He pondered again, as he appeared to have some idea on where the rune could be... But without having an exact layout of the building itself he was gonna be walking in blindly. Especially since as he saw Valentino leave, he noticed a special key they used to lock the door as he could tell it had been laced with Valentino's own power.

Knowing this, he knew that tampering with the lock in anyway would immediately alert the moth Overlord.

As if luck had been on his side, a worker came stumbling out of a room nearby, looking high off his own ass and not to mention drunk. Red looked over as the worker noticed him.

"Heh-heh-Hey---" He said seductively as he leaned against the wall noticing Red, "---Somebody get me a glass--Because I found myself a tall drink of water~!"

"You really know how to make a guy special." Red said as he chuckled. It hadn't been a second later as his expression turned cold, as the next thing the worker knew...

... He had held a knife to his throat.

"Where do they keep the key to that studio?" Is the only thing Red asked as for a moment his eyes changed.

"K-Knife---!" Was all the worker said as he had a look of fear.

Blitz along with the kids, his sister and intern successfully broke into the V tower thanks to an unoccupied window. Each of them made their way inside with ease before going against the wall to hide from the staff and workers.
