"So we just wait?" He asked.

"Caleb, shut up or I'm gonna kill you." "Fine!"

I pushed open the window and I climbed into the room. I sat down on the chair beside me, exhausted.

"That was wild." "I think we should do this often." I smirked.

"No thanks. I don't wanna have a longer crime list than it's already been." He uttered. "Innocent Caleb." I winked.

"Oh you shush." He kissed my head and sat down.

"Are you sure this is the right place? I can barely see anything."

"Don't doubt me, Caleb. I've done this a million times. I'm sure."

"Breaking into people's homes?" "Yes." I smirked.

He stared at me in the dark and I could only see his eyes twinkling from the light post outside. "You're gonna need to tell me all these stories." He said.

"In time." I chuckled.

I heard the keys unlock the room and I sucked in a breath of air.

I was nervous. I hadn't seen Helga in 8 years. She would freak out seeing me. I had to keep a strong bossy exterior so Caleb wouldn't exactly doubt my actions and that I had pure intentions for what I did.

The door opened and the lights came on. I smiled at Helga as she turned around to close the door and I crossed my legs.

"It's been a while, Auntie." I uttered.

She gasped and turned to my direction, taking in the sight of two teenagers in her home.

"Who are you?" She asked, not able to see my face. I stood up and I walked toward her. She fumbled into her purse and held out her gun at me.

I pushed my hoodie back and I smiled.

"Did you miss me?"

She gasped and dropped the gun to the floor.

"Cora?" She asked. I nodded. "It's me." She frowned and instantly hugged me tight.

"Oh, my god. What are you doing here?" "Long story. I need your help." "Who's that?" She asked, looking behind me.

"That's Caleb Wilson."

She turned back to me and cupped my cheeks.

"Why do you look like...this?" She asked seeing my rough demeanor.

"I'm on the run. Just like I always dreamed of."

She stared at me for a while and shook her head.

"I...what? You're on the run? From whom?"

"Cops." She took a step back. "What?! What the hell?"

I turned back to Caleb and I sighed, biting down on my lip.

"I think you're gonna need a drink if you wanna hear this story."

She shifted her gaze from Caleb to me and she sighed.

"Okay."

"I'm gonna talk to those fucking cops right now!" She said, pulling out her phone. I grabbed her hand gently and she paused.

"Wait. I need you to help me find Elora. Please."

She stared at me and she frowned.

"I'm so sorry this happened, peach." She cupped my cheeks and leaned her forehead against mine.

"I never should've left you. I wouldn't even let this happen in the first place." I smiled at her.

"You had to do your thing. And I had to do mine. I need you to find the coordinates of Elora's location. I can track her down and take her back."
