Caleb and Liam went up to his room and I sat downstairs, laying on the couch and reading a book. I knew I had to come up with a plan. I needed a perfect one.
I barely got any word I was reading into my head. I'd been zoning out for the past half hour. It turned into an awkward moment with the boys so Caleb said he'd go upstairs.
They called me up but I said I needed to be alone for a while and think it over. I'm glad they respected me enough for that and let it go. My mind split into two thoughts. A new plan and Caleb.
Did he kiss me only because he might've been turned on with last night's event? It was awkward and it could've been more awkward if he didn't kiss me.
To be honest I wanted to kiss him too but then again I was caught in between both of them. I knew Caleb respected me much more than Liam did and Lee was a fucking pain in the ass.
As much as I wanted to be with either of them, I couldn't ever be a wedge between the both of them. I cared for them strongly as my friends and if they both were divided I didn't know what I'd do.
I've had them around for a while but I got used to them that if I thought about the whole ordeal without them it would've been very different and might have ended horribly too.
I pushed the thoughts of the boys away and I thought of a plan that could help me out well and let me and Elora go freely.
That's when it occurred to me. A plan.
It was simple. But I think it could've worked. And I knew in my head what would happen. I'd already predicted it. So I knew what I had to do.
I closed my book and I got up. I slowly walked upstairs barefoot, also the fact that I didn't even run to Caleb's house with shoes on.
I walked to the top of the stairs and I stood before a long hall in front of me. I searched for Caleb's room when he opened the door at the far end and looked at me.
I smiled at him and he chuckled, approaching me.
"Are you trying to look into rooms?" He asked.
"I like to gossip." I said, jokingly. He knew I hated gossiping and he laughed with me. He placed his hands on the side of my waist and he tilted his head, looking down at me.
With the height difference between us, I'd have to stand on a stool to tap the top of his head. He squeezed me gently and I giggled, placing my hands on his chest.
"What's on your mind?" He asked.
"I have a plan-"
"Caleb!" Liam yelled from the room.
"Shh!" Caleb opened one of the doors and led me inside the bathroom, locking the door. I looked at him and he smiled at me, wrapping his arms around me.
"Sorry, I'm not really ready to tell him about what happened." He said. I nodded. "Yeah, me too." He grinned and kissed my lips gently.
"What's the plan?"
"You're not gonna like it."
"Does it have something that's gonna put you in trouble?" "Most likely."
"Come on." He let me go and he frowned. "I can't take it when you're getting hurt all the time."
"I know. I'm...listen, I promise it's gonna be the last time. It's a good plan and you're the only one who knows about the pit. So you're gonna help me. Please?"
He stared at me for a while then finally sighed, defeated. "Okay. Tell me what it is."
I smiled and took his hands. "Okay, so here's how it's gonna be."
