Chapter 16: Guardian attack

Nora raised her blade and struck the guardian. Pelia was ahead of her attacking the guardian. Pelia had managed to cut off 2 of its legs with her sword. And with Nora’s strike, she had cut off 2 more. Making it non-moveable…

Nora: “You guys distract it!”

With that Nora dived under it. Pelia and Runa put away their swords and started roasting it.

Pelia: “Are you a guardian or what? Come and get us.”

Pelia climbed on Runa’s back and they flew around the guardian.

Runa: *Taunting* “Come get us you son of a flocker!”

Runa didn’t know if the guardian could hear her, but it seemed like it did because it started to try and blast her. As she was flying in circles around the guardian, the guardian tried to hit her leg with a blast but thankfully it didn’t do any damage.

Runa: *Thinking* I’m lucky that didn’t tear my leg clean off.

Suddenly the guardian turned off and the red that was corrupting it disappeared. Then Nora popped out covered in fuel that powered the guardians.

Nora: “Is everyone ok?”

She was panting and gasping for breaths, she looked exhausted. Pelia came over to her.

Pelia: “THAT WAS AMAZING!! YOU WENT FRICKEN INSIDE IT!”

Runa: “We’re not hurt. But how about you? You look exhausted...”

Nora: *Shrugging* “I’m fine, it was just humid and hard to breathe inside it.”

Runa felt doubtful but didn’t press it. Maybe Nora was right, but she didn’t look fine.

Nora: “How about you go back to Rito village Runa? They should be done with the meeting by now. And… *Looks at Pelia* you should go back home.”

Runa: “But what about you?”

Nora: “I’m going to head back to Impas.”

Runa: “Well alright.”

Runa flew away while Pelia went in the direction of Death Mountain.

Nora’s Pov

     I am exhausted. I didn't tell Runa and Pelia because I didn’t want to worry them. I also didn’t tell them that I’m not going to Impa’s house. I’m instead going to Gerudo town, when I went inside the guardian I saw something that made my heart stop… Malice bright red Malice,this is a sign of the Calamity coming. The gerudos should have the most info on Ganon because he is a gerudo. So I’m heading there. I’m too tired to go back to Zora’s domain to get my horse even if it would have been quicker.

    After a while of walking/running I was almost there. My plan was as soon as I got there I would book a room. Then in the morning ask about Ganon. Suddenly I felt something hit the back of my head and my world went black.
