Chapter 27, Guys Night and Girl night?

Super Super sorry for the late update! Family emergency was a bit more important. But here is the next chapter. Hope you guys understand and totally vote it up!! Sorry if it is short, though it's better than nothing. 

Shawn's POV

We pull up to Ethan's house, into his driveway. His house was big, at lease a two story house with a big yard. Though it is not as big as  a mansion. Just close enough. I put the car in park and look up to Kara starring at the house. She looks so beautiful with her blonde hair pulled up into a messy bun. She wore a sweatshirt of mind and some dark denim skinny jeans with a pair of black converse. 

"Ready guys?" Colton's voice brings me out of just starring at her. I pull my the key out of the ignition and place them into my pocket. 

"I am. Kara?"

"Yep!" she responds. A small smile on her soft lips that soon fads into a nervous frown. I walk to the back of my car and pop open the trunk to receive my sleeping bag along with Kara's and Colton's stuff. Colton grabs his then swings it over his left shoulder. Kara walk up and puts her backpack on her back. We shut the trunk and walk up the driveway to Ethan's front door.

"Now remember Kara, anywhere you go one of us must be there with you." Colton repeated.

"I know guys. I'll probably just hang with Shawn for the whole time." She said.

Ethan opens the front door after Kara rings the door bell.

"Welcome to my home!" he says allowing us to walk in. It was nice and opened to walk around. We immediately walk into the foyer. To the right was the Dinning room and kitchen; while on the left was the living room and stairs. 

"Follow me guys. And Lady." Ethan spoke with a smile plastered to his face. He walks us down the stairs leading to the basement. Which apparently is a game room with a mini kitchen. It has a side room for just movies and games. 

"Nice house Ethan." Kara says, "Where can I place my stuff?" 

"You can put here in the side room." He points to the small door further down the room. We all walk over to the room and set our stuff down where everybody else put there things down. Danny, Ryan, Noah, and Luke were playing Call of Duty. While Luke, Hayden, and John were playing pool. I noticed Colton go over and join the guys playing Call of Duty. 

"You guys hungry or wanna play pool?" Ethan asked.

"I'll play pool. Shawn?" Kara turned to look at me for my response. "Sure."

We join the guys for a game. We split up into two teams; Luke, John and Kara on a team, while Ethan, Hayden, and I were on a team.

After 40 minutes of playing there was only three balls left. Hayden just had to knock out the last solid ball and then knock in the 8-ball. Though, if he misses than Kara would have to knock down the last stripped ball and the 8-ball. I never thought Kara was that good at pool, but she keeps suprising me all the time. Hayden lines up behind the ball, breathes...and hits the cue ball to the solid one and pockets it. Now if he can get the 8-ball in we win! He lines up..focuses, pulls back and hits the 8-ball. It rolls for awhile but stops right in front of the hole. Dang it!

"Alright Kara, you gotta focus!" Ethan said placing his hand on her shoulder. 

"I know. I got this." She says. She lines up behind her ball, takes a breath and scores. Good job Kara. She moves around the table and lines up the cue ball with the 8-ball. Before she hits the ball, she takes a look at me. A smile spreads across her face, than she blows a kiss to me. She takes the shot and it's in!

"Great job Kara!" Ethan says.

"Yeah, nice one girl!" John says.

"Thanks guys!" Kara says. She walk over to me and hugs me tightly.

"Nice job Kara. You are really good at this," I said. 

"Thanks Shawnie. You did great yourself." She responded. 

"Okay guys! Want pizza?!" Ethan asked. He went up stairs and grabbed a few pizza boxes. The pizza guy must have delivered because they are still hot. We all grab a slice and sit around and chat.

"Did you guys see the new Football quarterback this year?" Luke asked.

"Yeah, but he's small. The other teams are gonna kill him." John says.

"He has skill though. Saw him at practice and he hit every spot." Hayden said.

"I give a few weeks. But when we face clackamas, He is going down!" Luke inquired. 

"Totally! Hope his girlfriend won't mind a beat up guy who can't hold his own." Danny says.

"What girlfriend? He's probably gay." Colton said. It surprises me that he would say something like that. But then again we all talk crap. I pull Kara closer to me on the couch. Ethan sitting next me on my left. 

"Colton!" Kara shouts.

"What it's probably true?" He answers back.

"He's not gay! He's dating Alyssa Meyers. Captain of the girls basketball team." Kara steers back at him. 

"Really? Did he pay her?" Noah says.

"Could be if she didn't say anything about it." Aiden says.

"Probably even payed her to sleep with him." Hayden says.

"You guys are dicks." Kara says, she then looks at me and says "but not you babe."

"Well, we do have them that's for sure." Luke retorted. The guys laughed including me. It's just the guys and we don't mean half the stuff we talk about.  

"Whatever." Kara huffed out. 

"It's okay, Kara. They guys are only teasing." I comfort her. I put my arm around her shoulders pulling her in closer to my body. She just rolls her eyes and scoots closer to me. 

"Yeah Kara, we got to talk about random stuff to." Ethan said. 

"Fine. Just try to keep it rated G." she says back.

"Sure we will try." Says Colton. 

"Anyways, do you guys rather hit up Miranda Veil or Hayley Tills?" Luke asks.

"Totally Miranda!" Hayden and Ethan said.

"No way Hayley is so much hotter than Miranda!" Colton says.

"Yeah right! Cathy totally beats both of them." John says.

"Cathy? Don't you mean Emily?" Noah says, "At least she is easier to sleep with."

"You slept with Emily?!!" John asks.

"Totally dude. Emily was great in bed." Noah said with a smirk on his face. 

"Isn't Emily, John's sister?" Kara questions.

"Yeah she is. Which makes this even more fun." I say back.

"Dude that's my sister!" John yells. He stands up and makes a run for Noah. Noah stands up and runs all around the basement floor. Jumping over the other guys and making a girly scream just to mess with him. John finally catches Noah and pins him to the floor.

"Noah you better swear that you did not sleep with Emily?!" He yells.

"I do not swear. I'm just telling you the truth." He responds. 

"Ugh!" John takes his fist and tries to hit Noah. Instead they just fight and wrestle around on the ground. Guess Kara finally knows what happens at a guys night and a girl night? Whatever.
