Lacrosse has Hot Boys!!

Chapter 28, Number 3

Ethan's POV

The party is still going on strong. It's only 3 am, and we all are just wild and crazy.  Most of the guys are just goofing around pulling pranks on each other. I managed to sneak myself away near Kara and Shawn. I have to admit, Shawn is one lucky guy that's for sure. He managed to score a hot chick. Kara has always been hot ever since I have known her brothers. Her blond hair was gorgeous compared to the other girls at our school, but I know that if I made a move, her brothers would kick my butt. Though, I only see Kara as a little sister to me. So I give Shawn credit, he's one lucky guy that's for sure.

I know it's weird that I invited a girl to a guys night. Kara is not just any girl, she's like a sister to me. Plus a few days ago, the guys and I were talking about her. So we decided to bring her to a guys night to convince her to be one of us.  To join us. After a little discussion with Colton, he agreed it would be a good idea, even though there is a possibility she can get hurt. So in an hour we are gonna ask her.

1 hour Later

The guys and I were in the kitchen talking. Mostly about how we are going to ask Kara.

"why don't we just say it? Can't be that hard." Luke said.

"What if she says no? WE really need her guys." Hayden said.

"Then just add that in that we need her. She would really be helping the team." Noah said.

"Fine. You guys ready?" I ask. They all nod their head up and down. I turn around and the follow me downstairs to the basement. Kara is on the couch playing Smash Bros. with Shawn and Colton. She's doing pretty good, since both of the guys are really good.

"Hey guys. We need to talk." I announce. Colton pauses the game and looks at me. Followed by Shawn and Kara looking at me. I walk over near Kara on the couch and the rest of the team follows behind sitting near Colton or on the floor. 

"You having a good time Kara?" I ask.

"Yeah I am. Thanks for inviting me." She says a bit nervously. 

"The guys and I have something to say to you. We didn't invite you here just because we know you," I say tyring to find the next words to come out of my mouth. Kara looked at me waiting for me to continue. "I invited you because they guys and I thought that since you played with us in the Championships this year and helped us win. We thought that you should join the team." I finished.

"Umm.." Kara muttered. Her eyes where big and confused. 

"So that's why you invited me to tag along. Shawn? Colton? Did you guys know about this?" She asked. She looked a bit pissed off.

"I did. But I promised the guys I wouldn't say anything." Colton said.

"Shawn?" Kara questioned.

"I did know, but I still had a promise with them." He said.

"Okay. Do you guys really want a girl on the team?" She asked back.

"Of course. The way you handled yourself on championship day it was awesome." Aiden said.

"Yeah we would love to have your skill on the team." John said.

"Hmm. And you're okay with this Colton?" She looked at her big brother with a questionable look. I don't know why Colton agreed with us. He hated having his baby sister hurt. 

"Yeah I am. If someone knocks you down, I will personally make sure to knock them down harder myself." Colton said. Which is true, and after his turn, the whole team gets to take a shot at whoever does knock her down. 

"Alright guys, I'm in!" She announces. 

"Yes!!" We declared that we are happy for her to join the team. She really is a good player and I'm glad that she is part of the team. 

"So to be part of the team, here is your jersey. Number 3. And you can borrow Landon's old lacrosse gear." Colton said handing her jersey. 

"Now that we are a team, Lets crank up the music and throw a party here ourselves. Luke tell the girls to come over and Noah bring the high school guys over." I said pointing at each of the guys. Now that she yes, we can throw her a real lacrosse party for joining the team.
