Chapter 7, That's what Brothers are For

SHAWN'S POV:

I held kara in my arms to comfort her as she cried. After a little while i lifter her head up so her eyes were facing mine.

"Kara? Let me take you home or where are your brothers?" i asked her so calmly.

"I...i don't know" she said between gasps of breaths and cries.

"Okay, come here." I said pulling her into my side, placing my arm around her shoulders leading her downstairs. We walked around downstairs trying to find her brothers and soon found them outside chilling with the team by the pool. I walk towards Colton and Landon knowing that I'm going to have a lot of crap for this. Landon and Colton turn around to see Kara in my arms crying walking towards them. That's when they get up and everyone on the team starts to stare.

LANDON'S POV:

I look up to see my baby sister in our new lacrosse teammates arm crying.

"What the fuck happened?" I asked moving kara over in to my arms. I stare at Shawn for an explanaition.

"Don't blame me dude. Chase was with Kara trying to take advantage of her in an upstairs bedroom. He's been drinking." Shawn explains to them.

"Chase? Kara did Chase really try for something?" I asked her. She shakes her head up and down and then my heart just breaks for her. Colton hugs Kara next to him. I look at my teammates and they know that we have to beat the crap out of him. 

"Wheres Chase now?" I ask holding back my anger.

"Upstairs. But i've already beat the crap out of him when i found them." He said trying to keep from losing my anger. I take a deep breath and look at Kara.

"Colton lets go! We need to take Kara home now." I said walking towards the door. We all climb into the car and head home. When we reach home, I take Kara upstairs to her room. I pull out a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt for her to put on. After 5 minutes, i tuck her into bed and rub her back as she falls asleep. 

I hate the idea that some guy, especially Chase, tried to have sex with my little sister. Tomorrow he is going to pay for what he has done. I walk downstairs to see colton in the living room sulking.

"Hey"

"Hey. How she doing?

"She's shaken up but after some sleep she should be okay."

"Landon, we need to do something about Chase. He can't get away with this."

"I know, I'm thinking about tomorrow after practice the team and us show up and beat him up for it."

"Sounds good. He's so going to get an extra punch from me." Colton said grinning.

"Im tired man, Night."

"Night" we said and went to bed.

KARA'S POV:

I wake up the next morning to my phone going off. I had twenty texts from Lilly. Oh Crap!! I hope Lilly didn't do anything Derek. I look at my phone to read the texts.

Lilly: where are you?

Lilly: Are you okay?

Lilly: Where are you? U disappear?!!

Lilly: Are you with Shawn?

Lilly: Answer me!!

Lilly: I'm headed home. Please text me!!

Lilly: It's been an hour and no answer

Lilly: Where ARE you? 

Lilly: Are you Drunk?

Lilly: Kara Answer my texts!!

All of her texts where like this for the past  hour. I text-ed her back that i'm alright and ill see you on Monday. I set my phone down and head to take a shower. I relax in the shower, letting the hot water fall against my body. My mind goes over the night before, it scares me that he was close to raping me and no one would've known if i wasn't with Shawn for the night. I should text him for saving me. I smiled as i thought about him. After my shower I put on some jeans and a purple t-shirt with a hoodie over it and head downstairs. I make a bowl of cereal and eat at the dinning table.

"Hey sis, how are you doing? Colton asks me.

"I'm okay. I'm better since i slept." i replied with a faint smile.

"Don't worry, the lacrosse team and us will beat the crap out of him today after practice."

"When is your practice?" 

"At twelve till four. Then we'll come back and watch the lacrosse game tonight. You want to join us?"

"Sure sounds good."
