Chapter 14, Pool Party, Love, and New Guy?

That Sunday after the lacrosse game one of the players threw a pool party to celebrate us going to the championships. They boys were their swim trunks and were roaming around the backyard talking to girls and friends. Landon was talking to that Kenzie girl who wore polka dot red bikini. He sure knew how to flirt that's for sure. I hung out with Shawn, Lilly, and Ryan. Lilly wore a nice pink bikini, her and Ryan were constantly talking to each other and did i hint a bit of flirting in there to? I wore a blue and green bikini and was talking to Shawn by the pool. 

"No way! We are so gonna rock it in the championships!" Ryan shouted pumping his fist the in air. All the Lacrosse guys cheered as well and went back to what they were doing.

"Yeah and Kara and I will be there to root you guys on!!" Lilly said putting her left arm over my shoulder smiling at me.

"Yep! We are gonna were the school colors and cheer for you guys" i said.

"And while you guys are doing that Ryan and I will be scoring goals." Shawn said high-fiveing him.

"Yeah!" Lilly and i shouted. I feel someone lift me up and toss me into the pool. It was cold at first put then it felt warm. I surface up and see my brother colton standing near the pool laughing at me. 

"Your a jerk Colton!!"

"Only to you sis" he said with a wink. I look at Shawn and see him grab colton and toss him in with me.

"Thanks Shawnie." I spoke. I reach my hand out to him, as he grabbed my hand i pulled him in with us. Colton was laughing with Shawn and I. Ryan then grabbed Lilly and did a cannon ball together into the pool. They really did make a cute couple. We played Marco polo and chicken together before left to go home. 

Monday at school, I talked to Lilly in first period about her and Ryan.

"Yeah he totally likes me!" Lilly said.

"I can tell. You guys are always together and he is really sweet." I said back to her. The day went by kind of slow. Lilly and I sat in third period talking more about her and Ryan when some random guy sat down next to me. 

"Hey" he said.

"Hi, I'm Kara." I said with a smile.

"I'm Richy. I just transferred here." He said. He looked at me a lot during class so i invited him to eat our table for lunch. At lunch Ryan came up and asked if he could talk to Lilly for a second. So that left me to eat with Richy. We talked about his family, where he was from, and his likes. I thought it was weird but after a bit it seemed like he was hitting on me. But maybe i just over exaggerating. The school day ended and I walked with Shawn over to the bleachers to watch him and my brother's practice lacrosse. I then see Landon talking to Kenzie and he lays a kiss on her lips. I guess Landon has gotten himself a girlfriend. He then joins the others in their practice. I sit on the bleachers doing my homework till a hear a soft 'Hi' from someone.

I look up to see that it is Richy.

"Hey, What are you doing here?" I asked putting my stuff away.

"Oh i was just walking to my car and saw you sitting here alone, so i decided to come over." Richy said taking a seat next to me.

"OKay. I'm just doing my homework while my boyfriend and my brother's practice." I said with a sweet smile. I was still talking to Richy when practice ended. Shawn came up and put his arm around my waist as he sat down next to me. 

"Hey sweetie, Who's your friend?" Shawn asked being so protective.

"This is Richy, I met him in third period today." i said introducing Shawn to him. Richy says hi back and then leaves before saying goodbye to me. Shawn just sat there glaring at him and then looked back at me.

"Whats wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing, that guy just bugs me that he only wanted to talk to you." he said.

"Shawn calm down. I'm dating you, and i told him that to. So don't worry." I reassured him. Shawn faintly smiled at me.

"Okay, but i still don't trust him." he said. 

That Night i was on my bed thinking about the day and how Shawn didn't trust that new guy. It didn't really bother me, i told him i had a boyfriend anyways. I was pulled out of my thoughts when Lilly texted me. 

Lilly: omg!! Guess what?!!

Me: What?!

Lilly: Ryan Asked me out during lunch!!

Me: That's Great!!! 

Lilly: I know, i'm excited and now we get to go one double dates!

Lilly and I texted all night about our double dates to come. At least something came out good today.
