It was awesome that dad was home. I missed him a lot since he was gone for about a year. Landon and colton talked all night to him. About 11 o'clock dad tucked me in to bed. Just like when i was a little girl.
The next day, i woke up and got dressed. I put on a pair of dark jeans with converse, a purple shirt with a side of a face on it. I placed my hair into a messy bun and headed downstairs. Landon was still talking to dad. Colton must have been asleep cause i didn't see him.
"Hi sweetie, you sleep well?" dad asks.
"Yeah i did. So what's up guys?" I asked.
"Well dad and I were talking about us going to the beach for the day. Want to?" Landon said.
"Yeah sounds good." I said back.
"Okay so its gonna be a family day. No boyfriends or girlfriends got that?" Dad said standing up.
"Okay. Dad you still want to meet Shawn after the beach today?" I asked.
"Why not. We will have dinner with him. ok?" he said.
"Okay." I said, I grabbed my phone and started to text Shawn.
me: hey :)
Shawn: Hi babe, Whats up?
me: getting ready to spend the day with my dad. So we are going to the beach but you can meet him after we get back. We will have dinner. ok?
shawn: okay sounds good. I'll just spend some time with friends.
me: sounds good. bye
Shawn: bye

Even though it was Thursday, Dad didn't care about pulling out of school for the day. He just wanted to spend some time with us. Colton, Landon, Dad and I layed down the beach towels on the sand. Landon and colton tossed around a Frisbee with dad, while i laid down on the towel sunbathing.
"Come on sis! Join us!" Colton said running up and down the beach.
"Okay." I jumped up and joined them. Dad was with Landon and i was with colton. It was nice to be a family again.
After an hour of running up and down the beach we took a break and sat down at out campsite.
"So what do we have for lunch?" I asked.
"We have sandwiches. Here take one." Landon said handing me one.
We sat there eating and talking about old memories and school. Till dad picked me up and dropped me in the water. Landon and colton were laughing their asses off. I stood up and started splash dad. We laughed and soon the boys jumped in with us.

After six hours at the beach we finally got home at about six o'clock at night. It was great to spend time with my family again. Just like when we were younger. Colton was passed out next to me, dad was driving and chatting away with Landon still. I was sitting in the backseat with my music blaring playing Super Bass from Nikki Minaj. I picked up my phone and decided to text Shawn.
me: hey
few minutes later....
Shawn: hi, how was the beach?
me: it was fun. How was your day?
shawn: good, hung out with buddies the whole time.
me: thats good. We are headed back now. Whats up?
Shawn: with a few friends
me: who?
Shawn: uh...Morgan, Cody, Jon, and Ty
me: thats cool, so come over about 7:30?
few minutes later...
Shawn: sure see ya then bye
me: bye
I shut my phone and slept all the way home, so i would have energy for tonight. When we got home Landon and colton took a shower and helped dad cook some steaks for dinner. I went upstairs and took a hot shower and then put on a black mid thigh skirt with a white blouse and some slippers on. I pulled my hair up into a pony tail and headed downstairs. I helped dad set the table until i heard the doorbell ring. I open the door to see Shawn standing there in a nice button up shirt and a pair of nice jeans.
