She was just finishing up when she heard the door to the ladies' room open, briefly allowing in the music from the main clubhouse.

"Why did you even bring her? You know how boring and ugly she is. I just feel so sorry for Griff, I mean having to spend all his time with her when she is so unbearably boring." she knew that voice. It was one of her friends' friends' voices. She knew that she was a bitch but she never thought that she would talk about her behind her back like that.

She wondered who she was talking to. "I know, but she turned up at my place when I was getting ready. What was I supposed to do? And besides you know as well as I do why Griff spends time with her." her friend relied. She sat frozen for a second as they continued." I mean, he wouldn't have looked twice at her unless I offered to sleep with him for every date they went on."

The laughter in her so-called friends voice cut almost as deeply as her words. She had known that Griff was out of her league, but she had thought that he was truly interested in her. He spent so much time with her that she thought they had a connection.

But know she knew it was because he promised compensation for having to spend time with her.

"God, how did you even get him to agree in the first place?"

"Gave him a blowjob while he fingered me. Then told him if he acted like he was interested in her then I would let him fuck me after he spent time with her. Didn't think he would go for it, but he did. Almost two months later and he is still coming over after their dates for some fun."

The two laughed uproariously at that. She wondered if they knew that she was in there, but then realized it didn't matter.

The truth was out now.

And it crushed her.

She heard them leave and had to take a few moments to collect herself. When she emerged from the stall, she saw her reflection. She had never seen herself look so broken before. But then again, she had never thought that she had been as happy as she had been before.

Now she knew why he had always said that the timing didn't feel right whenever she threw herself at him. He didn't want to have sex with her as she was just a joke to him. Someone to see just so that he can have the woman that he really wanted.

After washing her hands and face, she picked up her phone and called a cab.

Then she went back to the man she had thought was falling in love with her, the love of her life and the man who destroyed her beyond any doubt.

Griff, the liar.

Griff was waiting for his girl to come back from the restroom.

She had been gone for a while, and he was starting to worry. Whilst she wasn't the type he would usually go for, he had found over the last two months that he really enjoyed her company. He hated how they had started out on a lie, but he was going to make sure that she never found out about it. And his first job was to stop sleeping with Mags. As fun as it had been, he hated doing it now. And every time he went over to her place to call it off, she somehow managed to get him into bed.

Then he would feel guilty.

Which was why he refused to sleep with Gin until he called it off with Mags. He wanted her to know that she was the only one he was with. She was already the only one that he had allowed on the back of his bike. But the guilt he felt whenever she put the moves on him and he had to push her away was starting to get harder.

He had wanted to give in so many times, and every time he went straight to Mags to call it off but he was so frustrated that she managed to get him to cheat again.
