This is not an update.
I have been saddened by some of the comments I have been receiving over the course of the last few days. As such, I thought that I needed to speak up.
I thought that I might just mute people who make unnecessarily hurtful comments either about my ml or about myself, but people are entitled to their opinions. And so I thought I might just leave it.
But then again, I have to ask myself, do I deserve being called misogynistic or whatever they said? And for that individual i would like to say, i am a woman. All because of a story I am writing?
I don't think so.
But muting them so they can not comment seems a tad much to me.
So I am pondering my next course of action.
I don't want to stop writing, I enjoy it too much.
I also love reading all of your comments, with the exception of those few.
But I really do not want to feel like I am right now any longer.
I do not think my story is bad or that my ml is irredeemable. I am aware that he has been made worse through his confessions at thearpy.
But I will say that you do not know where I am taking this story.
You do not know which characters will have a hea.
You are not me.
I write for myself.
Not to please everyone.
If you do not like my story, or the ml, or any of the characters' personalities, please stop reading.
As the old saying goes,'If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.'
I would also like to thank everyone who reached out to me yesterday when I expressed my upset. It means the world to me.
And for those who do honestly like my story and feel the need to comment by saying you don't like the ml, I will let you in on a little secret.
I don't care.
At this point in the story you are not supposed to fucking like him. But he is at least trying to figure out where the fuck in his life he went so wrong.
The next few chapters will start to see a change. A darker change I'm afraid.
